Sometimes yes,but i have seen dark babies become bright also and even the other way around. The shells change alot when they mature.

No its alot about genes en blood lines too,like the dad and mom from these babies are bright and high yellow and light collored so babies will probably be like that alot too. Same with the concentric patterns and skin collors but you never know with this species they can produce insanely looking ones right from te start,and also different kind of collors etc thos species has insane much diversity every egg is a suprise egg lol.

I am not sure,i just collected them from the garden and put them in the fridge for a week to kill deseases and gave them lol. After a couple they wherent intrested anymore and only played with it.🤣

I tried many times hut i have never seen them stuck yet,they are stuck like dogs when they are really mating,but they also do it at night in the dark sometimes so maybe it already happened lol,look on youtube for vids.

@@malaclemysterrapin1466 The skin colour and pattern is gorgeous. It's some years since I kept terrapins. I'm tempted to start up again now I've seen yours. I used to keep Red ears when it was legal, but they were very snappy. Not like your mild mannered Diamond backs at all. ✨😊👍✨
