We pay trubute and acknowledge our forefathers, and the initiative of significant members of Parliament led by Grand Chief, Sir Michael Somare and his supporters Sir Julius Chan, Fr John Momis, Sir Paul Lapun, Sir John Kaputin, Sir Buri Kindu, Sir Anthony Siaguru, Sir Mekere Morauta. Other influencial leaders who assisted shape PNG include; Sir William Skate and Mr. O'Niel - PM (2012 - Modernized PNG). We sincerely acknowledge and thank Australia for its care and Administration throughout the beginning and still is very much the backbone of our Nation.
