Why turn based? It feels like you're playing a board game like Monopoly fr, I will NEVER understand why this game is so popular

I like that the party member mechanics feel more focused. I like Seven through Monstrum Nox, but the noncontrolled party members always felt unfocused and like they want you to do all the real work. I get why, but what’s the point of two other members if they’re gonna be overly passive AI? This at least feels like you can have everyone both Adol and the other character go ham when the need strikes.

I just started this game today on pc. I played for roughly 3 hours. Of those 3 hours I got maybe 40 minutes of gameplay...

For a game with graphic improvement one thing I apreciate is how small this game file size ir seems till this day ys8 are by far the only highest file size compare to 2 other modern ys game. Falcom with their File compression at it's finest!

Nah, Ys games have been growing on me. Finished 5, 6, 7 then 9 and now i'm finishing 8 (Wich has definitly been my favourite!), so i can't wait for this!!
