Hi Joe. It's only 15 minutes from the airport. Prices are much cheaper in summer season with many special deals. Check hotels combined. Also check my channel for latest video of this Water Bungalow if you are interested :-)

Hey, loved your video on adaaran. Im planning to book one for my honeymoon. Can you tell me what occupancy you guys booked? the single or the double? And the island is about 5 Miles from the airport, right?

@khusinn As mentioned before a meal for 2 would be approximately 50 USD at the main restaurant on Vadoo. The japanese restaurant is slightly cheaper and serves good Japanese food. As for the dress code "No Sleeveless clothing for Men inside the Restaurant" apart from that we wore beach wear all through our stay. I paid by Indian Credit Card in USD everywhere. Carrying USD should be sufficient since it's readily exchangeable anywhere on Male (most shops will accept USD).

@dharmeshmeena1984 I presume by water activities you mean water ski, para gliding, etc. We didn't ask and didn't see anybody doing those on the island. I have mentioned the list of activities available in an earlier comment/post.

Hey..thnx for the awesome video...congrats on the wedding...the rooms are nicer than many other more expensive hotels..... what about water sports and activities...any place where that is possible on the island or nearby

Other activities are Volleyball, Male day trip, Sunset Cruise, Sunrise Cruise, some Fishing excursions, etc.

@varunet You get complementary snorkeling gear at Vadoo for your entire stay and are free to snorkel in the house reef on your own. Except when there are "strong current" boards put up on the beach. Beginners Scuba with 1 instructor per couple is 200 USD. The instructor will teach you the basics and then take you on a 30-45 minute scuba dive. Sand bank snorkeling was a bust there is a mid ocean snorkeling we didn't get to try but it's supposed to be good.

@satendrastudio It was good. You should go there for a second Honeymoon sometime ;-)

@varunet: Highly recommend the house reef for snorkeling and scuba diving... our overall stay was great!! Its THE honeymoon destination to go to! Make sure you carry all essentials since Maldives is an expensive place..a meal will cost you upwards of USD 50 for a couple at Vadoo. IF travelling to Male wear clothes that cover arms and legs fully to enter the mosque...if you are vegetarian your menu options are very limited. Wish you have a great trip like we did :-)
