it is also thanks to red green i am watching Chilly beach too when i can find any episodes of it im a lifelong animation connoisseur, im always looking fro something awesomes and fun to enjoy and it is one of them, also how Red Green would describe the unseen characters like stinky peterson id always think of Flower an anthro version hehe, but for Moose Thompson id think of Gantu from Lilo n Stitch cause i love that movie and series as well but he fits moose to the t big and sometimes in later animated series he got bigger and the way he runs he would splatter a bull into hamburger like in the running of the bulls episode hehehe, for Junior Singleton i always pictured someone like Walter in the shorts a lot, but that aside i love the series everything with especially the movie Ducttape 4 ever funny enough pokemon 4ever the Celebi movie came out at the same time when pbs showed red greens movie we recorded it also later found it to buy i got it again and watch them both back to back a 4x4 movie double feature thank ya m8 for doing this for Mr. Smith.

oh this is a treasure to behold, i loved the Jack Benny show too my mom was surprised i liked that show i was 3 at the time a local am station played it late at night when i couldn't rest id listen to the comedy hours jack, The great Gildersleeve Fibber Magee n molly, shows they had me giggling like crazy i knew what they meant i was 3 years old but for some reason i understood everything, that was back in 1979, i still enjoy those golden treasures one time i actually caught a few clear dxing channels from Canada with a show Sesame park back in 2001, i saw Red Green on it im going no way this is so freakkin awesomes, grown up on Sesame Street and finding out later on a spin off made in Canada which was neat to find out and having one of the greatest actors ever on it made my day, i know im the odd one out but boy i love something that just makes you laugh and smile and feel great and the red green show always did that for me even on my darkest days it brought light.

Good guy. Gotta love the classics when every episode ends where it begins.

Pat hasn't appeared on the Possum Lodge podcast in awhile. Hope everything is ok in Red Green land.

Pat was also an evil robot teacher in an episode of Big Wolf on Campus. That was my first exposure to Pat, but I didn't know about the red green show yet.

He keeps it non-political because he has no political training....one course at U of T Mississuaga does not count.

Steve Smith was a genius on Smith and Smith, what little I can find out there now to watch and the Red Green Show. I agree with almost everyone on the show except the one actor that filled in as a Hap Shanise type when Hap was not there kind of was hard to hear and did not project well with his voice. The thing I find amazing is that a bunch of the cast members of The Red Green Show they still get together for this podcast they do.

Looking the way he does now.... Pat should totally go back to Possum Lodge and make The Harold Green Show. Its canon that Red looked exactly like Harold when he was young, so it makes sense that Harold would grow up to look like Red.

"I'm the audience." Wow. I've been drawing cartoons for nearly 50 years. I read them and laugh at them. Some people ask me ''you laugh at your own cartoons?" I said "Yes! Who do you think I'm drawing them for?" Steve's comments about wanting to create content that he thinks is funny is spot on.

Steve likes not being able to defend against a corrupt government. Like, that'll never happen eh? Trust your institutions eh? Our government being corrupt can't be Tru- doh right?

I think Australians are the same as Canadians viz comedy. It has to be obvious; that sounds pretentious and conceited, but it's true. Great interview with the bona fide funny man Sean Cullen.

Wholeheartedly agree with his summation of comics now. They get up there and tell you how to live your life and make jokes about current things instead of being funny and taking your mind off of reality (like Bob Hope or Lucille Ball or Steve Smith. I think actually Steve made that point in an interview and it stood out to me and I never forgot it, so Steve, credit to you for that). That’s what comedy should be. Anyway, I’ll quit dominating your comment section ;)
