I love this version!!! It stands out from the previous one and I love the new melodies. especially the one's at 1:47 and 2:28 (can't remember which songs there are from for the life of me) Keep these Masterpieces up!!!!! I know some people do this, you could put the specific leitmotifs you use in the description so people who forget can just look to see. just an suggestion
I’m glad you enjoyed it! :) Oh! That’s a good idea! I’ll put the leitmotifs in the description now, sorry about that! The specific motifs you brought up are one of the motifs that appears in Once Upon A Time (specifically the Last Goodbye version) and the Heartache motif.

He looks scarier up close... But really cool! I like the song, but I'm not sure how to feel about all voice lines and Spamton's screams in the background, I'm not sure it fit
Thanks! I’m glad you liked the song! But uh, there’s no Spamton voicelines here. It’s mostly assorted Flowey noises, actually! Are you perhaps talking about the Earthbound “Wow!” sample? That also appears in Big Shot but it’s not a Spamton noise really; it's an Earthbound reference! :D
@ColonThreeClef oh, I didn't know that it's an Earthbound sound effect, I've never played it, so I only know it from Big Shot
@@zawdan666 Ah ok! That makes sense! Yeah, it's an Earthbound sound effect. I believe they sampled it from a Blockbuster commercial..? Anyhow, in Earthbound it plays whenever you start a new game, which meshes very well with Hypergoner thematically, so it made sense to use it.

Good but I associate the motif at 0:00 with king
Uh, there's no motif playing there except for an _extremely_ altered part of THE LEGEND, which is way more heavily associated with Ralsei than it is with King. Are you talking about the bassline? That's just the Heartache bassline. It's not really all that similar to the Chaos King bassline.
@@ColonThreeClefI thought the final part of The Legend was King's motif because it plays at the end of Chaos King and also the part in which it plays in the legend cutscene is around where it talks about the new dark fountain (the Card Kingdom), but could be wrong
@@CompactStar It's definitely not King's motif. That particular melody also plays in My Castle Town and Empty Town, which are not related to King in any way, and it's not present at all in Card Castle, which is where you'd expect to see King's motifs. Not to mention that from a music theory perspective, the final part of THE LEGEND is just an elaboration on some of the same musical ideas that appear much earlier on, just in a different time signature. Also, King already has a motif. It's the Card Castle motif. Why would he have a second motif that's only ever directly associated with him once and more often appears very prominently in songs that have absolutely nothing to do with him?

I was going to say that the instruments could be better (ilke the SGM overdriven guitar could be replaced) but that's actually kinda fitting considering the context, it feels like this is a song Asriel composed for his game (but I'm not sure if that was intended)

the melody is good but the instrumentation could use some work. The default earthbound and sgm soundfont dosent sound that good, consider adding some more effects, and more variation in the instruments. Over all i think its quite well done. Good Job!

Since deltarune is about different forms of escapism... I consider memories and nostalgia as a form is escapism.. In a normal route this makes sense for a chapter to be theme like this.. Mostly if it is one with asgore in it.. Trying to go back to where times were good.. But ultimately moving on.... In weird room however... This could be... Turned into another thing... If somehow Noelle decided to go on this one too.. Maybe is to stop Kris or to experiment to what this world is possible to do or.. Maybe is just a coincidence... But.. She will bring the recording of berldy winning the spelling bee..... Once she enters the dark world... Berldy will be formed... But with no memories on what actually happened to the real him... I imagine that this would follow the patter of weird route of hiding the bad things you did... In the normal route Noelle and berdly would enter the dark world for another adventure.. In the weird route version would be a way to hide to the rest of characters berdly's fate... The scenes between Noelle and berdly will go in generally the same direction in the normal route and the weird route.. But with sublte hints that something is... Wrong... But ultimately being ignored.. To continue with the normal script.. That until.. Sussie and ralsei (and whoever else is in the party) separate.... Noelle would break down... She would scream at berldy that he isn't real.. He died... And even if she doesn't get it... Now he is here... Is better to.. Run away from kris as far as possible... So this time berdly can be save... But.. Kris would step in.. And Noelle would start to be scared... Berdly trying to figure out what the fuck is going on.. He would only process.. "Kris bad.. Noelle afraid.. Protect her" And also "I am probably dead..... I have my way to mend this" So.. This is were it would be interesting... Because.. Maybe to continue the weird route.. You have to break the patter from the weird route... To achieve the maximum amount of pain and trauma in this case.. Would be to not kill berdly and convince him to be spared.. Doing this.. It would initially be seen as you decided to stop being an monster and you be ttrown back to your normal adventure... But this is the opposite.. Now.. Berdly would reluctantly join your party as it would happen in the normal route.. And he would be pretty happy to help Noelle.. And since life has given him an second chance.. Then best to make most of it.... Noelle would be kinda reluctant to trust kris.. But.. He left berldy live.... Then.. That means he decided to no go darker.. That would relived her... Everything would be seemingly normal until the end... You seal the fountain... Everyone arrives back home... And... Berldy is not there... Berdly is still dead... Noelle would.. Break down.. Again.. Just given her hope to crush it... Given berdly hope even though you knew too well he was alredy damed....

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it :) I love Skies Forever Blue, and the melody to it is so great and catchy. If you believe in the idea that the ribbons belong to Dess, and that Skies Forever Blue references that, then you've got a perfect recipe for a "Dess leitmotif" in the absence of any official one (although tbf 'Lost Girl' seems to be the most likely candidate for her primary motif right now).

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :) About 3:34.. Yep! The electric guitar there is playing a Nightmare Knight motif. More specifically, it's playing the one that also appears in The Chase. At the same time, the piano is also doing the sorts of downwards arpeggios that appear all over Nightmare Knight, but that's more of a subtle nod than an explicit quote.

I absolutly love this song and especially the design of Hypergoner himself. the black and white refrencing undertale, the wings being the fountains, and the triangle thing for some summoning circle thing (That I have no idea just judging off of fun gang's stars). My favorite part is his head/Jaw. his lower jaw doesn't look attach to the rest of his head and I love that design choice. Keep it up!

I'm glad you like it :) I'm actually not entirely sure what the triangle thing is supposed to be either, but it was a part of the beta design for Asriel's final form in the Undertale Art Book, so I added it. I think it looks quite nice and I'd probably say that for Hypergoner it's some sort of power source.

I can't believe six years passed. I remember being a sophomore in high school, I played undertale earlier that year, and I downloaded survey program as soon as it was available. I even stayed up on a school night. That night changed me. I'm glad I made that decision. I just want to see Ralsei, Susie, Lancer and Kris again.

Yeah! It's kinda crazy how time flies :0 For context, Undertale was 6 years old when Chapter 2 released. Kinda mindblowing to think about, and it goes to show just how much work must be going into Chapters 3 and 4!
