old school radiator cooling with electric fans, no HP tuners, no EFI live, for my bro.
Просмотров 683 года назад
if you do not have HP turners, or EFI live, you can still mount and run electric fans on your newer car or truck and bypass the computer control, just make sure your thermostat and temperature switch work in the same heat range.

      im not, the truck did not come with electric or heated seats, so there is no relay from the factory in the socket, i plugged in to the hot side of the relays socket for power and used a stud on the floor for ground, nothing fancy just a simple 2 wire connection to power the seats.

    Good tips. I also immediately noticed the tie strap around the fuel tank deal…wth?? Tie straps get brittle over time especially in a hot area like that. I don’t like the speed switch for transmission…my old Craftsman had a throttle lever much better. Engaging the clutch/brake to change speed…that engineer needs to be fired. The electronic reverse module…I see future problems there. If it breaks you can’t reverse. Thanks Bro 👍🏼

      That is actually one green wire, the same one you saw, and it is cut to allow for the switch to close the circuit. Think like this. When the switch is on it is one wire. When the switch is off it is a cut wire.

      if they want it bad enough, they can jerk you out at a red light or hook up to it with a wrecker and run, the only way they will know about a kill switch on your ride and it's location is if you brag about it, thieves will not take the time to repair your ride so they can steal it.

    • @PappyDan
      @PappyDan 2 года назад

      the fuel pump connection is stock, what i did was use the fuse connection to the fuel pump relay to kill power to the fuel pump, the fuse has a 2 prong connection, one connection for each end of the wire, switch in the middle, relocated the fuse in the box to a fuse holder on a link, flip the switch power to the relay is off, you can do the same to the fuse to the starter relay, flip the switch and no matter how many times you turn the ignition to start, the starter will not come on.
