@ ahh I stumbled across it online brand new for hardly anything. Maybe they didn’t know what they had. Can’t believe the used prices! Looks like Reon discontinued it.. I think if more folk had known how good it is they would still be making them. I’ve managed to work out about 80% of it now and have fallen in love with it 😍

Thanks! Yeah, the flanger was really cool. I don't use the effect much - easily stuck in the reverb/delay rut. I'm definitely going to use it more!

SQ-1 triggers NTS-1 via MIDI. One thing I have noticed is that the volume of the MIDI triggered notes is lower than the notes played via the NTS-1 keyboard. I haven't looked to see if there is a global setting around that. Enjoy exploring!

From a gear standpoint, getting my head wrapped around LFO and the modulation it can drive as well as the Cutoff filter has been huge. From a theoretical standpoint, getting a rudimentary understanding of chords/scales has been very helpful. From a personal standpoint, realizing that I like what I'm making. I go back to these videos, not just to remember and learn from them, but also just to listen to them because I like the music.

True Fall and the cooling cannot come soon enough for me! Trying to speed it up with these jams. 😁🍁🍂
