When an 8 year old knows more than a licensed surgeon…

How do you call these surgery rooms where people can watch?
How do you call these surgery rooms where people can watch,
I'll just pop in the how-to video and we'll get started.
Every doctor in 20 years after they used ChatGPT to pass their assignments
I mean.... That is basically med school, yes
Lisa saved her father
good. CANCEL THE HAM
Average doctor in 2024.
Homer came back just for the ham and even he got juked out of it. Life really is a bitch, especially when coming back to it.
😮
What do you call a med student who finishes bottom of their class?
ChatGPT doctors be like:
You go in for surgery and the last thing you hear the doctor say is "Alright, as soon as he's out we grab his wallet and run like hell".
In the world of engineering, you are only supposed to be familiar. You can't memorize everything, most of the time you design a project like a lego set, but each lego is a problem you can solve with formulas online. We really just organize information, or combine it.
The fact Lisa has more surgical knowledge than the actual surgeon feeling the pressure during the surgery says alot about Lisa’s intelligence and the town’s low intelligence
Stuff like this is why, from the very beginning, I chose to study to be a general doctor and not a surgeon. I don’t trust myself, especially when it comes to something super precise.
"Carotid artery" *Cuts into the abdomen*
Shit like this is why the Simpson s is so funny
Remember that just before Homer goes under anaesthetic, Dr Nick says “what the hell is that?” 🤣
Dr. Nick Riviera would bring a corpse back to life on autopsy as a coroner with his skills.
I thought this was invincible lol
that one guy that graduated using chatGPT 💀
The Simpsons predicted people graduating med school for chatGPT.
Who high was the guy who gave nick is medical license.
I like how he touched his facemask with is sterile gloves and went directly into the patient afterwards
Surgeons after graduating using Chat GPT
Damn
I love Dr Nick, he's great!
Silly Lisa. What do you mean by below? Posterior? Dorsal? Distal?
chat GPT
the opposite of what happened irl
Anyone else think this video looks aesthetic as
Ive always thought dr. Nick was philipino for some reason...idk why
"A quack? Would a quack have escaped from a mental institution in the Philippines? I don't think so" (from The Critic.. but the character was voices by Phil Hartman)
@@DemonicAdj ik...when i was a kid in 1993
A study done by John Hopkins University estimates that between 250,000 to 440,000 people die every year due to medical mistakes making it one of the biggest killers in the United States.
I think that the only thing that ages this joke is that the flashback because he's thinking about 20 to 30 years ago. Is that of the '70s. If they remade it now, it would totally be some basement party with kids on skateboards and grunge music blasting.
"Think back to Med school…" ChatGPT:
The amount of med students who cheat on their school assignments makes me want to live the healthiest life I can
Reminds me of the guy who pretended to be a doctor and when he heard he was going to have to do surgery he memorized a bunch of medical textbooks and successfully completed the operation. I think he was either a spy or a stowaway, but I can't remember. Might have been neither.
To be fair to him, all his surgeries are successful. He knows what he's doing, even if he doesn't realize it
The wrist watch gag, after decades, is still my second favorite joke from the show.
As a kid, that was the biggest non-visual joke that stood out to me. Perhaps because it's so easy to understand.
@@TheEgg185 that and "SILENT ALARM ACTIVATED!!!!"
I might die when I'm 40 but I will not give tens of thousands of dollars to jackasses who know various big words
"I hate it when they keep asking me questions. Like I'm supposed to know shit" -my friend, a practising doctor
Then your friend needs to find a new job. People have questions and doctors gotta have answers.
@@bigfootsburneraccount9160Doctors are like politicians, lawyers, and cops. They are a callable human being who is given a position of authority where they can speak to a captive audience and just be believed, so eventually they are nothing but who and a paycheque. They aren't there to help you, *you're* there to help you, and it's your job to make them. In my experience, that usually means doing their job for them and harassing them until they sign something.
I hope your friend gets his license removed
@@AndrewFullerton Damn you have shitty doctors where you live
He needs to stop practicing and start doing it for real then

I have seen this scene several times -- and the one thing that I just noticed... When Jed walks out of Leo's office, he doesn't close the door between them. That could be symbolism ... that could be so that Leo has a visual cue that Jed is right there ... or, of course, it just could be a missed part in the script. :)
