Every time I hear this song it makes me cry. I listened to this all the time in my last year middle school and it just brings back so many memories. Walking through the tall grass and scaring my friends with the grasshoppers I found, laughing and hanging out with my old friends, slipping and falling on a soaking wet day after forgetting my umbrella. Once we all had a group hug sort of randomly. It's the happiest I think I think Ive ever felt. So many people I lived, who loved me too. One day when i was joking off a bunch my friend steals a pen. I ask for it back and she leans back, making me knock over my entire table and go with it. We laughed until we cried that day. I used to always skip last period pe so I could rush to the little cornerstore to go buy chocolates to share. Doing karaoke in my classroom, baking and bringing the stuff I made for my friends, long shifts with friends at school festivals where we would just sing and joke around, stupid games that we would all get so serious about, the butterflies in my stomach when the boy I liked brushed against my hand, the jokes that my one friend M would make being so funny I snorted my drink out through my nose, studying for hours on end with my friends while preparing for entrance exams, trying to make the shitty toys in the snacks we would get and then laugh together as a piece got launched across the room. It's all so treasured to me. Some friends moved away, some friends I never talk with. I still hold the memories in my heart though. The year after my depression was the best year of my life. I had so many good friends and I'm so grateful. B, A, T, M, M2, M3 (lot of M lol), K, P, E, O, Y, E2, R and especially C, you guys all hold the most special place in my heart and I hope you all do well 💘🌠
