Y'all are literally right in front of our house..bunnys high tidings..we've pulled in monster fish out there and from when the pier was still up.good catch

Sweet. I've pulled one in like that and boy was my arm sore the next day.

We attached that reel to the rod (reel purchased that day). Have since corrected pole combo...this was our initial trial run and had fish on within 30 minutes. We used Ocean Kayak to run lines out some 150-200 yards off coast. We did not know person who posted this video stating 72". May or may not be 72" but I'm 6'4" (76" tall) with a arm span of at least 74". Wingspan was at least 65"+. You can see I'm pretty well stretched out trying to ballpark measure in video. We tried to remove hook but could not flip over due to weight and large surface area of wings against sand. You can see us trying to lift it too....We knew salt water would take care of hook, there are designed this way. Fish was put back into ocean and swam off, no need to revive. We are simply novice fisherman, enjoying day at beach.

Fishing the OBX is superb. You have to be there at the right time of year. Spring and fall are best. Baits range from shrimp, cut bait, live minnows, sand fleas,blood worms, clam necks, small crabs, to squid. There is such a large variety to choose from due to different fish have different diets. And different fish are there at different times. Local bait shops give good advice. They want you to come back. So they'll make you want to come back. Successful trips make for regular customers.

im in the outer banks right now, and today a stingray came up on shore injured, sadly it didnt make it, but ive been fishing all week and havent caught much, what bait and lure are u using?

i was there! i filmed for a bit but didn't last long. glad to see what was caught! how crazy!

well i was there when he cought it the guy who cought it is my bestfriend's dad. and just for the reccords it was cought of the frisco pier. and it was 100 yards past the pier. (the cape hatteras pier is in 1 piece, frisco is not)
