We are trying to repair our fiberglass front door with a gel stain. There some spots where the previous fiberglass stain has come off leaving a much lighter (blonde)background. We can not get the new gel stain we are trying to use to cover those light spots, it is just making the dark door darker. Any suggestions? 0:30

Since moving from a ballcock-fill toilet to a valve shut-off, my pipe bangs because it closes so fast. I reduced the flow on the pipe, which helped a bit, but it still does it. I just wonder if there is anything else that can be done. I was going to put a ballcock-fill in, but the new cistern is not very wide compared to my old toilet.

Mine doesn’t sound like that. It’s more like knocking.

Also sanding over gloss leaving a hard silica type residue on the bottom sandpaper creating unevenly contact.

Tried the Seal N Peel and it would not stick to the window or frame. But it definitely would stick to my caulking and my fingers. I tried cleaning around the windows, even tried rubbing alcohol. Any tips?

thank you for your video. What do you think of raw wood floors that are painted directly ones that are installed in the kitchen I’m just worried about waterproofing the kitchen in the bathroom. Basically I took white birch plywood ripped wide long boards and installed them now I’m not sure what to do. I would like to paint or I would like to use wood fillet to “water proof” it better but I do like the slight gaps between the planks. Having a hard time finding trowel wood filler to make the white birch.

I would have scuffed sanded, especially since the surface is nice and smooth and easy to sand.

Does it leave fingerprints when you touch it after time

I have a 20 year old deck in good shape. Would the solid stain look like "paint" and perhaps give a cheap appearance? Someone told me it would almost look like trex but I find that hard to believe.

The finish on my door has bubbled up, and dried out and is flaking off. Do I need to sand put the gel coating and then put some other sort of finish over it

So this sound only happens when I flush ONLY one of my toilets. The other toilets don’t make the same noise. Does that mean it’s a toilet problem or could a water hammer issue affect just one toilet? Thanks

OMG! The underside of my Weber Spirit lid has black peelings. It’s SO extensive that I firmly believed that it was some kind of Weber factory installed coating. It’s WAY worse looking than even what your video shows. Are you certain I can just clean it and that it not some special Weber coating?

Can I use the regular CLR calcium and lime? I have really bad calcium build up in my tub and it’s causing drainage issues along with clogged hair. Thanks! 😊
