What the Hell do I Look Like?? - Body Dysmorphia
Watching this after Kinds of Kindness
Thank you for this. I am planning a "guided ghost tour" of The Mount Edith Wharton Estate. I read Ethan From a long time ago and you refreshed my memory. It is as bleak as I remember.
This helped me understand the book and was a good summary which was also interesting!
This is the best summary ive seen and it absolutely helped with my AP Lang test!
I think I am in love with you
And when McStud became a drama queen and attempted to kill himself?? Let’s talk about that
Levin didnt believe in god at all
Renaming them is funny but baffling
talking to potatoes 🤣

That`s really dumb and disrespecting to this classic.
But they never met in the movie right ? Farmer jesus and sexy anna
thank you so much you did a wonderful job summarize this
After finishing the book today all I can say is DAMN I WISH I WATCHED YOUR VIDEO FIRST
Also, Dostoyevsky > Tolstoy
hello as you can see i am writing this using my university account, id just like to say how good of a job you have done narrating this novel. Not only did you get me excited about hearing the novel you actually made me almost want to actually read it. You are amazing just thought id let you know.
Thank you miss Chloe you're amazing
Some really good tips here. I am much older than the average young COMEDIAN. I did my first Open Mic in November, and since I had written that set over the previous five years, and had been refining it, I knew that one down pat, without having to use notes. Only been doing one Open Mic a month and I know that’s not nearly enough, but I have been writing almost every day over the last few months. Either in a notebook 45 minutes to an hour every day or on my phone with notepad when I’m walking around outside which is where I get a lot of my best ideas. Didn’t know about the rule about 20 words then punchline, but I looked at my latest set which I’ve written over the last three or four weeks and put together the bit. That would constitute a 5 1/2 minute set over the last week. And I have some bits that are 20 words exactly before the punchline some that are 15 or 16 words, and a few that are 23 to 25 words. So overall, not that far off. I have been doing a lot of editing to trim the fat from some of my bits. And I do have a few act outs and the little singing in my set. I have twice as many bits in this set as in the previous four so I’m hoping twice as many laughs.taking a little longer to get it all memorized without looking at the cards. Thanks again for all the advice. I will keep you posted.
My favorite book synopsis ever! 😂
Can you make one on the white fang?
I agree with you and so many aspects 👌🏻
brilliant funny lol
Based on the Introduction, 'Farmer Jesus' is based on Leo Tolstoy and I doubt that someone with narcissim would write themselves as so irascibly shy they need someone to guide them through a group of people. This dude is so shy that when he gives his own views he, "spoke as hotly as if someone had spoke out against him." When nobody was bothering with him in that scene. That to me, really doesn't define someone who is so enamored with themselves that they think they're so great. I'd think he was a narcissit if he had based Stepan on himself. But Levin is to Leo in this book.
why did Tolstoy write such a novel. was there a point?
Thanks for the Cilffnotes! I am ready to read part 2.
Thank you so much mam. The repetition of farmer Jesus being Tolstoy himself and him being a narcissist totally had me rolling. 😂
Tolstoy was a total narcissist? You’re like clueless. You didn’t learn a thing.
great questions!!!
Lol😂...TYSM!!❤️
Here I am, three years after you made this, thinking to myself, maybe I should broaden what I read. Tolstoy is recommended. I get a copy of him and think to myself, maybe a bit of a condensed version will help me through it. So this pops up while I'm driving to the total wine in Albuquerque, and now I will forever have to think of Tolstoy as Mr Potato Jesus as I buy a liter of potato vodka. Somehow, it all connects. Thank you for helping me on my literary journey.
I was supposed to read this for this semester but never got around to it and forgot, my essay is gonna be fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
You are seriously unfunny
Keep killin it Chloe
This is so good! The flow of questions was great!

Always wanted to know the story of anna karenina... Couldn't find amy better explanation than this 😂❤❤
This is so hilarious please I beg you to do a whole series of book reviews like this. My favorite novel is Jane Eyre but I’d love to see you do a review of it like this.
I will when I hit the lottery!! I've been meaning to read Jane Eyre for a while!!
Coooolllll
Kind of funny, but pls don't use it as a guide. This almost wholly mischaracterizes Levin, for example. His religious epiphany only comes at the very end of the book, he's a classic existentialist non-believer throughout. He almost kills himself because of the nihilistic position he arrives at, just like Anna does, seeing life as a war of all-against-all, and everyone as hateful and desperate. She tries to find meaning in passion and love, he tries to find it through a variety of philosophical and practical means; both fail. She kills herself in despair, but his epiphany of a type of natural law brings him back to the faith he abandoned as a young man and saves him. Rather than "Farmer Jesus," he's "Farmer Agnostic" trying to fend off existential despair. There are also some sloppy factual errors in this (Levin did not propose to Kitty 'at a ball,', etc.). A+ for creativity, C+ for content.
FARMER JESUS ASKING LITTLE KAT TO MARY HER VIA SCRABBLE WAS ADORABLE I HOW DARE YOU
Hilariously accurate 😂
this is a masterpiece
This was indisputably my least favorite mandatory read in HS and I love reading. It’s sooo bad.
I started reading this book and was looking for a summary to follow along with and this was perfect!
Wisdom comes from growth! ❤
