what happened to the followup video on the RedArc

How did the redarc perform? Any issues?

Any specific reason for the H pattern? I'm hoping to save on costs a bit and am considering using a single 1/2” pipe down the middle, rather than the H shape configuration and wondering what difference it’d make.

Cool project. I made one but I used a single pipe in the middle of the box. I used Citristrip to strip the old paint off the can and painted it with high temp paint.

I think the intake holes on the air mixer are generally intended to be on the propane side not the burner side, but the air mixer seems to work that way. Try flipping the air mixer.

How strong is your pump?

That's how it's done. Nice job. I only worry about the rubber hose being close to the heat source. One add on I would do is to get four of those plumbing straps and screw them at each corner on the bottom of the can for legs to raise it up a bit for cooling and air flow under the can. I'm making one for sure...

Do you have links for the Air mixer and reductions for 3/8 pipes to connect the propane hose ?

FYI you might want to look up how the air valve works because having a reducer right after it. Really reduces its ability to work, specificity saying a straight piece is required right after it that it comes with. As well you can’t just paint over the original can paint as it will fail and cause your hi temp paint to come off

I’m not sure why people cut the crash bars. You just loosen the bolts as far as you can then cut the bolt and pull the crash bar out.

Seems like fridge is pretty heavy is there a reason why your fridge is on driver side vs passenger side with gas tank being on driver?

did u use a orifice going from The propane connection at the box to the burner.

are you able to have one fair suck air in and one fair pull it out? I read somewhere that you can't change directions on these. Thinking about getting 1 or 2 for my tacoma cap.

Hi you need more airflow to burner, then you will have a clean blue flame, yellow flame equals to much gas not enough air But nice build anyways

If you get a 40mm ammo can, it is easy to store the hose assembly, and 2 1 pound propane cans for portability. Also, take the rubber seal from the lid, and it acts as a stand for the whole unit keeping it 2 inches off the ground. Lastly, drill a hole for lighting it easier.

Nice build sir! Was wondering what size btu air mixer did you use for that build? I keep getting multiple sizes when I look online and it’s saying : 90,000, 150,000, and 300,00 btu’s.
