After a hot day at camp, we headed up to Tourist Trap to get some climbing done in the shade. I missed a key hold right at the top of the face and squeezed up the slot instead.

The weather was perfect for some climbing so Alex and I headed out to Rock Land to work on Corner Route.

That's a neat climb. A little run out at the end to top out. Interesting start, dyno to the first bolt!
Looks like a fun line. Have you done much crack before? It looks like you are potentially using too much muscle when you “jam”. You should be sticking your hand in flat then moving your thumb into your palm, not just flexing your palm and fingers. The meat of your thumb is what holds you on, you can also press with your other fingers, but that’s should be minimized as it’s strenuous and not as secure. Also we can’t see your feet but you mentioned them being sketchy, a good footjam is as good as standing on a ledge (well except for putting some torsion on your knee :))
Hey, thanks for the comment. This was actually my first crack lead. I had been practicing on TR on a splitter hands in a gym and this was my first time lead a crack. I'm new to trad and a bit of a baby on lead, so I tend to complain while I'm up there, something I'm working on. The feet were actually great, I was just spooked. Thanks for the advice.
