Thank you for watching and tuning in to this video! I also mispoke when explaining what the yarn content is for the Stockholm hat. It is the Filcolana Artwetta held with soft silk mohair by knitting for olive. :) Check out my last video where I show my knits from 2023: ruclips.net/video/M-EbowGfoMo/видео.html You can find me on instagram: avknitts

You have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen!!!!!! <3
Ilana is so beautiful! How long did it take you to knit? I am scared a bit of the effort needed 😄
One thing that would be helpful is to show how the clothes you made for yourself fit on you (inserting a video) It's more work, but holding the clothes up to the camera is not very informative/useful Congratulations on the wonderful news 😊✨ Baby knits look adorable
Beautiful podcast, loving your projects 😊
I totally get the problem with fitting your pregnant belly. I am also pregnant and feel like I should be knitting jackets and cardigans but I really want to be knitting all the sweaters! Are you making any baby knits?
Yes I’ve made a few items, but I definitely want to make more for the baby!
Love your podcast. Watched all of the episodes over the weekend. I love the patterns you choose. So many future projects for me to cast on!
That is so sweet, thank you!!❤
Loved your pattern’s choices 😍😍😍😍😍 I just don’t understand how you and the majority of the other knitters can cast on more than one project. My brain would be overwhelmed 🤯🤯🤯 I knit one sweater at a time. And I need to finish it as soon as possible. Usually I spend one week or a little bit more to finish my sweaters. I basically knit all my free time and I have a lot of free time 😅😊😂😂😂 Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹 ❤❤❤
Hello! Thank you for watching :) I know I keep telling myself to work on one project at a time but there's so many patterns out there that I get ahead of myself sometimes😆
Which way did you bind off icord? No idea what could be the best way.
Interesting video about your sweaters and the yarns you´ve used. The softer the yarn, the more it´s about to pill. I think kashmir is said to pill but after combing the garment with a kashmir brush and after the first washes in cold water (20degrees Celsius) there´s not supposed to be that much pilling. I´ve also heard that kashmir sweater should let rest a day always after wearing.
Oh wow interesting I didn’t know that! Thank you for watching :)
😘😘😘
So full of information for knitters on fabric and construction. Thank you
Your levitate wrap looks way better than the test knit in the photo by the designer XD
Loving the color of your ingrid so much!
@@nikitinaknits thank you, me too! Definitely reminds me of the fall season 😍
Love your collection sweaters. Great info on yarns and how they hold up.
@@CorinneBurns thank you 🥰
Congratulations. The baby knits are indeed so cute.
Nice projects Congrats on your baby. Hope everything goes well! Enjoyed your podcast ❤❤❤❤
Congratulations on the pregnancy! You knit beautiful things! I agree about the Elisabeth blouse, that blue is gorgeous!! Which color is it?
Thank you so much! I used the shade Petroleum Blue in both Knitting for Olive Merino and Soft Silk Mohair!☺
Congratulations for the baby on the way! More reasons to knit!!!
Thank you!! And agreed🥰
Definitely has a rhythm going! Such delicate work--making it look easy!!!
😘😘😘👏👏👏
Did enjoy the video, thank you!
😘😘😘
Love the colour combo of the isager yarn and drops mohair! I wonder if the gauge would work out smaller if you held just one strand of the mohair instead of two?
I am loving your channel!
That means so much thank you 🥹
Wow, I would say you are an intermediate Knitter for sure
That is an impressive year of knitting. I don‘t think you can call yourself a beginner anymore! 🎉
Hi Alina, I’m currently knitting the Petal Drop socks by Florence Miller as well. It’s a lovely pattern and sock. I’m new to knitting socks, and when I started it was suggested to knit socks in tandem. This process works well for me. Congratulations on your first podcast. Happy knitting 🧶 Karen
I've heard of that before! I think for my next socks I do, I will definitely have to try that. And thank you, I appreciate it😊
Beautiful! How many skeins did you use?
Thank you! I used 6 skeins total for the XS size :)
I am a beginner knitter, enjoyed your video. What sock pattern would you recommend for a First Sock project?
Thank you! I would suggest the sock tutorial by Kristin Lehrer here on RUclips. She has a step by step video on how to knit simple socks, I think it's very informative. These petal drop socks were my first socks I knit up, it's by Handmade by Florence here on youtube as well! Hope that helps :)
Congrats on your first podcast!! Love the hat and the shape of it. Love all your color choices and that cardigan ❤❤❤ happy knitting!
Thank you! Much appreciated☺
since the second sock is too big all over you may have used a thicker needle by mistake,
I'm not sure, might have happened :/
😘😘😘
the socks you knit are so cute! and the color is so pretty!!! i hope if you do end up unraveling the bigger sock and making it the same size as the other one, they’ll be better and fit nicer! 🤎🧺
Thanks! Yess that's definitely the plan!
What a successful 1st year of knitting garments! So many beautiful knits and what a gorgeous collections. You clearly welcome challenges because you used so many techniques. Yea... I don't think you can consider yourself a beginner anymore . 😂 Can't wait to see what you knit this year.
Thank you I really appreciate that! And honestly, youtube tutorials have been a big help when I didn't know how to do a technique!😂👌🏼
Crazy that this is just your first year of knitting. I just subscribed so i can see all your gems for 2024❤❤❤
Thank you! I’ve started on a few projects already for this new year, can’t wait to share 🥰
I like petite knit too. The tricky part is buying enough grams of yarn. You will have to be sure the dye lot matches Sunday sandnes you have now. Keep the ball bands for that.
when i abuse a skein of yarn too many times, I use a niddy noddy to re -skein it, soak it in warm water, squeeze, not twist the yarn, roll up in towel to absorb extra water and hang yarn to dry.
That is such a good idea! I will have to try that out thank you 😊
So many beautiful garments, and colors that suits you :-) You are very talented. About those you say you don't want to wear, try to style them with a cotton T-shirt, a blouse, a singlett, or something that can take the itch away. (I pesonally would never wear woolknits right on my skin) also you can wear scarfs with them, if you are not liking the coloring or the neckline <3
Such a good job on your first year of knitting. Some tips: before putting your knits in the wash, check the label for care instructions. As for the sweater you are frustrated with because of starting and restarting, did you make a gauge swatch? I know they suck to do, but they will save you a lot of heartbreak! ❤
😘😘😘
so many beautiful knits! love how many cozy neutral tones you knit with. not only are they super aesthetic but it makes them sooo wearable and versatile for outfit pairings.🤎🧺
Loved your video and your knits. I’ve been knitting for about the same amount of time.❤
Thank you! And that's awesome I find it so therapeutic ☺
😘😘😘
