Wish Project Lambda was more then just a showcase. Came out in like 2019 and just was never heard from again... I am happy Black Mesa from the Crowbar Collective actually did release and in some ways does look better, but in some ways this holds up more. Only so much you can do in Source 2.

The remake of a remake of a remaster of a game.

In the original, the text lines about how to act in response to possible exposure to radioactive materials was well timed with the train passing by some glowing green liquid oozing out of some tank. I missed that comedic timing here.

This is great but without the music there is none of the unease and sense of impending doom from the original.

I guess Vladik Brutal in better in the same style, at least it looked somewhat finished (IDK, I couldn,'t play it, it was so broken it sort of fuses a QWERTY and an AZERTY keyboard, and there's nothing I could do to change shortcuts, it was just too broken, it thinks I have an English and another langage keyboard at once, it sucked).

Are you guys porting Black Mesa into SOURCE 2 ?

I do like this demo, but it’s just awesome couple things missing. I’m sure the intention to detail and graphics are better but it’s just missing the music and buy some of the things that were within the other half-life games like the robot cargo carrier.
