Looks like I am going to have to get this device in front of me. It look flimsy to me. I ain't hating though, I am a huge Ableton supporter. I just dont see where this fits into the equation. I'm gonna pick it up and see if it works the way those who like it say it does. So the Ableton Move is your go to or you have another front runner you use to make beats? BTW, the KO 2 has a display. The display is larger than the one I seen on the Move.

​@@bassrobotics If there is one thing that Move is not, it's flimsy. It's very well made and well thought out. It's interesting, pretty much all of the criticism I see of Move comes from people that haven't used it, but the vast majority of people that have got their hands on it seem to love it. It definitely is limited, but I for me that is part of the appeal as it means I don't get decision paralysis and can just start jamming out with it. I'm finding it much easier to get ideas down than using Push as it encourages you down a certain pathway from the off. It's not for everyone but it might surprise you.

Peace LS. Thats why I did this video to hear from the community. I admit, I am thinking about picking this up just to see. I could be totally wrong in my assessment, I just have not been blown away by what I have seen. Im waiting for you to drop a video making the Move walk on water....lol. So the Move workflow is straight to the point and sequences with ease? The step sequencer looks clunky to me. I don't see why they used the buttons as the playhead as opposed to the pads too. Maybe I have to get used to Ableton in the standalone sampler race. Ableton needs to build a Note app for Android today!!!!!!!

@bassrobotics I think once you get to have it in your hands you'll get a better idea (No Diddy 🤦🏾‍♂️😂) I struggled for 2 days trying to figure out the Roland P-6, although it's really Dope, I made a beat with the Move straight out of the box after watching the video from Abelton on how to sample lol. It's more simple than you think, and the build quality is really really good! Get that jawn, and I'm tuning in to watch you cook!! Always love and respect my brother, have a blessed weekend!!!🙏🏾✊🏾💚

Bingo!!! The SP-404 MK 2 is by far the leading choice in this range. Why would I pay 450 for this unless I wanted 1500 sounds to play with. As far as the EP-133 KO 2 is concerned, I get my ideas into Ableton with no problem. These days you can convert audio into midi right there in Ableton. At the end of the day we just want to get these ideas out and worry about the rest later.

Capture is good feature. Every device we bring up on this thread has a capture function. They just call it a different name.

Now I like the way you think. Limitations def push the envelope. I was more concerned about the flow of the Ableton Move. At least based on the videos that I seen. It appeared a bit old school to me, did not look seamless. I could be totally wrong. Appreciate your input.🏆

@@philippeleblanc856 Of course there is no comparison. I am not comparing them at all. I am saying if you want to sequence with ease, without a bunch of menu diving and steps, KO 2 is a good option. End of the day its all preference, no right or wrong.

@@bassrobotics Thank you! Could you also take in consideration BEND+ / BEND- buttons? Maybe it will help for a manual sync.. I just guess.. ( BEND-, "The pitch goes down while you hold down the pad. This also slows down the playback, like an analog turntable." )

@@kenjiii_ i heard abelton and the sp is a fire combo i been currently using my sp dawless for a couple months but abelton would be the only daw i would be down to mess around and use with the sp

@@BlxntedBandit mostly use it for FX for beats made on ableton with the push 2 or for performance since I do beat sets locally
