In the 70s I bought a pair of jeans, (now don't forget there wasn't stretch jeans then) and they had the American Flag down one leg they stood out down here in Australia!

I can sew a shirt from scratch in 3 hours. So doing this is not time efficient, but it looks like fun. So, for that reason, it is worth looking into. Jane seems to be able to buy readymade garments very inexpensively, so that makes this type of design sewing efficient as well. The upside of sewing has always been that you have a unique garment made just for you.

What kind of paint?

What I LOVE about her work the most is that it is Plus size friendly. Most upcyclers I have found before this were a size 3 and and then show you how to make a skirt out of a man's oversized jacket. With Paganoonoo you learn how to take several pieces to make one item....AND MY FAVORITE THING is how she repurposes collars and cuffs so I don't have to throw anything away.
