Verbs in English can be classified into two categories: stative verbs and action verbs/ dynamic verbs, Dynamic Verbs (something referred to as "action Verbs") usually describe action we can take, or things that happen, Stative Verbs usually referre to a state or condition which is not changing or likely to change.
Finite Vs Non-finite verbs

Finite verbs are those verbs that agree with the subject and express the mood,tense, number and person. On the other hand, non- finite verbs do not agree with the subject and can be used in the present participle, past participle, infinitive forms to perform different functions in a sentence.

Here was is used with a singular subject ,ie Araf ,and it is used to denote a time in the past,where as the word had is used as a past participle and past form of the verb have and can be used with both sigular and plural subjects.

The use of words no and not are often confused because they are easy to mistype. Not negates the meaning of the modified verb when used as an adverb. No means not only when used as a determiner. Sometimes not accompanies nouns.

Sir আমি খেলি। এতে তো verb এর সাথে ল আছে তাই এটি past Tense হবে।
@@kartickmaity2452 আপনাকে ধন্যবাদ। আসলে খেলি এটা একটা আঞ্চলিক শব্দ। কথাটা হয় খেলেছিলাম , খেলেছিল, খেলেছেন । তাছাড়া খেলি মানে তো কাজটি অতীতে হয়ে গেছে ।
@@kartickmaity2452 তাছাড়া এই খেলি বলতে অতীতের কোন একটি অভ্যাসকে বোঝাচ্ছে তারমানে আপনি আগেও খেলতেন এখনো খেলেন এক্ষেত্রে আপনি used to ব্যবহার করে ইংরেজি করতে পারেন।

স্যার,ছালাম জানবেন। স্যার আপনি যে বললেন, Verb এর 'ing' form মানেই Noun এর কাজ করবে। এটা কি সঠিক তথ্য?? Verb এর 'ing' form তো adjective এর কাজও করে।

স্যার ,, Sentence যদি past tense হয় তাহলে while এর পর subject থাকলে was/were বসবে? কিন্তু sentence যদি present tense হয় তাহলে কি হবে?
