Homemade Smoke Machine - 4000 Watts - Test 1
So this is the first test of my homemade fog machine project I've been wanting to get my hands on for quite a while.
It uses a 4000 watt water heater, tubing from the back of an old fridge, and a 31W vibration pump. The inside diameter of the coil is filled with cast aluminium. (This transfers the heat from the heater to the coil).
I accidentally purchased 120v pumps instead of 240v ones... So for now, I connected two of these pumps in series so divide the voltage in half. Since running dry could damage the pump, the pump that is not used for the machine is just pumping water from that recipient back into it again...
Since alot of the materials used were recycled, this machine only cost ~ 2...

I was asked to make a fake fire that would be used as a stage prop for a scene involving indians. It used an old fan and two 3 watt red led lamps.

So my 300 watt sub started making these strange buzzing sounds a while ago, and just got worse and worse. I was about to chuck it out, but I decided to have a quick look at it and see if there was anything I could do to try and fix it... I haven't had any problems with it ever since...

Pyrotechnic Bullet Impact on an Actor - Explosive squib - Movie special effect
Просмотров 8 тыс.8 лет назад
This was a special effect for a short amateur movie. A small explosive charge is placed under a bag filled with, for instance, fake blood and hidden under the actor's clothing who is protected by a thick piece of metal. The explosives used in this video were homemade squibs filled with approx 0,250g each of Armstrong mixture. The ignition system inside the squibs were also homemade. Feel free t...

Approx 1g of whistle mix under a pile of soil. Electric ignition. My first attempt at recreating the effect a large bullet would have when shot at the ground.

Always going to get some noise ?? Ive never had that chatter on any speaker at any price and I’m 67 - been through a bunch of speakers. Thats not normal in any way
What material was used for the flame itself?
Just cut mine open and it was stiff making noise, jammed some card down, lifted cone and cleared it out, movements perfect now, glued back, drying... If it works, no idea waiting 🤣🤣🤣 Looks like same driver too!
Por favor, teria como disponibilizar o projeto

What is the name of the transformer?
What Fabric? How did tou get that flame effect
How did dust get behind the dust cap? How do bugs get inside sealed light fittings ? Maybe there was a houdini bug buzzing around your speaker ? Every time i pull something apart not find a fault but it works after reassembled , it bugs me . Well done , helpful
Thru vent hole at the back of the speaker.

If this happens to my speaker again im done like I'm throwing my speaker out the window I'm not dealing with that horrible sound
A DIY video on how you did it would be appreciated.

Well done sir.....!! Thanks for video
Công thức ngôi sao của bạn là gì thế
Umm... yikes "just mess around with it " 😳
I m surprised,U didn't use a 0.5 mm plastic paper or an x-ray film to clean it with downside to upside stroke's, this problem will be rectified.
Everybody know...speaker do purring like that.when they sleeping
It sounds like a cat purring lol
I know this is old but could be the spider has partially separated from the cone and the speaker is no longer moving straight in and out causing the rub especially in certain orientations due to gravity. Check the spider where it meets the cone.
Adding too much glue you adding too much weight also.
Please can I get some or is it sold anywhere I need it for my movie thanks
Sir my woofer is playing good bass but sometimes all of the sudden cracking sound comes with music…. Plz sir how to fix it
How to make that squib?
Maybe the screws that attache the speaker basket and magnet where loose...
Kaboom repairs... Hahaha
I've used white lithium grease it's non conductive so It lubes up the coil I'm not sure the long term effects but I've used it on car subwoofers to limp them around but none of them were mine 😂
hello there is a problem with my speaker can i send you the video of it
Next time that noise starts up, you can just remove the driver, then turn it over and smack the magnet real hard with the biggest hammer you can find. The sudden shock combined with gravity will knock the debris out of the slot in the motor and free up the voice coil and allow it to center itself. Don't worry about harming the magnet, it's very durable. However there is no problem if the magnet shatters into pieces because like you said- It's a piece of shit driver anyway. Then you can buy a real loud $5.00 Pyle sub-woofer to replace it as an upgrade mod that will impress your friends.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Question what would happen if I put WD 14 in it would it blow up ?
Wd 14? If you think of using wd 40 i wouldn't recommend it since it can damage plastic and make a mess, maybe it can lubricate for a bit but i wouldn't recommend it. Better solutions are the ones in the video or use silicone based lubricant.
@@wearefromserbia9714 ok
Good
Can you please tell how you made the homemade squib??
I think I have the same problem with my z2300 satellite speaker as the high end frequencies I’m don’t really come through anymore as it is super old and there’s probably a bunch of dust and shit inside it, as the middle part is just a metal cone shaped piece and there isn’t anything protecting the voicecoil
Wood glue? Ya need rubber cement
Haha
Thank you so much, I’m having the same problem and this is helping me a lot.
Bhai kese banayi
I have a pair of 10 inch subs in my room, when I play low frequencies one speaker makes a clicking noise when I push down on the cone it makes a squeaking noise, it just started today.
Make 7 and use all pointing into one center lol
