Brunskill Farms
Канада
Добавлен 12 июн 2022
Maria is an almost retired paramedic and Graham is a semi retired scenic carpenter from the film industry, together they has started on a new life adventure.
Their vision is to have a fully functional goat dairy producing a variety of goat cheeses for local markets. This has been a passion of Maria's for a number of years. What started out as 4 goats, a couple of chickens, 3 dogs, and 3 cats has quickly transformed into a small working farm.
The goal is to have a self sustainable farm by Maria's retirement in 4 years.
The currant challenge is for Graham to have her stop expanding and purchasing more farm animals...meanwhile, he has purchased a Koiti sub-compact tractor to aid in working the farm...!
Come along with us as we tackle each obstacle, adventure, and life's 'little' challenges together.

Building a goat feeder - Brunskill Farms
Welcome to our Vlog!
It took me about 90 minutes to build this feeder. Had I preplanned and got organized before the build it would have taken me less than an hour, including cutting all the wood. Total cost if I purchased all new material, would have been $100.00.
This channel was created for our grandchildren to come along with their crazy grandparents on their new life adventure.
We're new to hobby farming/homesteading, new to youtube and we're thrilled to be learning.

In my 30 years as a paramedic I have seen people of all walks of life having to deal with cancer. They all touch my heart but non more than the children. I will be shaving my head September 20, 2024 and my hair will be going towards wigs for kids. If you are able to help in this cause please click on the link below. support.cancer.ca/site/TR/CopsforCancer/COPS_NW_odd_?px=14675557&pg=personal&fr...

Просмотров 1134 месяца назад
Welcome to our Vlog! Well with everything that we are doing it will be nice to have a tractor to help out around here. While its not the Kioti we had in Enderby, it will be great for what we need it for. Its a Case 400 and from what we can find out it was built in 1963. So Graham is still the oldest on the farm!! This channel was created for our grandchildren to come along with their crazy gran...

Right on, 😢❤
😂
What kind of paper towels were you using?
I think these ones are bounty but I use what we have.
Wowwwww❣️❣️ I have a turkey that’s just hatched too 😍.. and another half way there 🥰 I have 12 turkey eggs and 8 chicken in the incubator this round ❣️👍🏼😜 🎉 CONGRATS 🦃
It is so much fun watching isn’t it? Congratulations on the new feathered friends
🦃🤎 SO EXCITING 🦃 I have 13 in mine with 8 days left 🤎🦃... my first time hatching turkeys 😜 (there’s also 8 chicks that’ll be hatching with them 🐣)
Graham may be the oldest on the farm but I'm 3 days older than him so ..... there's that.
Name Liz's girl Princess Diana...Di for short. Love Sophia's laugh😅
🤍🍼Oh my goodness😍Cuteness overload🍼🤍 This is Liz’s lil’boy’s new mom😉 I’ve finally decided on a name for him.. ‼️DAYO‼️ ... it’s a Nigerian name that means “arrival of joy”🤍😜
That is amazing!
Love when Zorro escaped and came to investigate 😂
I think we have finally been able to contain him. We will see however!!!
Those babies have some beautiful markings. So are so stinkin’ cute 🥰
Thank you for sharing this. That was a big kid, usually the bucklings are bigger than the doelings in many cases. Lol, I'm sure you know that. I wish you the best on your new adventures.
M
You are so welcome! He was one of the smaller bucks delivered. Marigolds first kid was stuck and we almost lost her and her kids as he was so big. One of the reasons we won’t be using Diego as the herd buck
I love it!! They are all so cute!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you. They are a lot of fun. Let me know when you’re coming to visit.
@@Brunskillfarms Deal! Matt and I want to do a drive up in the summer. I'll keep in touch! 💜
❤ how Liz looked up at you😂 I love this you guys!!
Thanks. I’m enjoying this adventure.
@@Brunskillfarms ❤️
😂
Honey is a first time mum and she is doing amazing
Very informative video. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. It was Chelsea’s first time. I think she did great!
She did awesome. It took me awhile to get comfortable with being on camera too.
Jepers. I still can't believe you moved up there. Sat hi to Gee
I will.
I love that the sun is coming back! I can't wait to start my seeds for the garden! I also loved hearing the Chickadees in the background. ❤❤❤
Poor dude just wanted a little tucker, YA BIG MEANIE!! Hope you dont run into him out and about, you may just need his good will😢
In the late 1800’s my great grandmother wrote that in Manitoba the buffalo would often be found at the watering trough , sharing the water with the cattle .
Let him eat. Can't you see the frozen ground? There is barely any food for him to eat. It's not going to kill you if he eats a little bit of that hay
Thank you for the food ❤
Nice pants!! Lol.
lol, yes they are warm and a good friend gave them to me.
I like the pants and they are hardly the focal point of this video. Hoping you get some warmer temps soon and all animals stay healthy! 💕
I pray you and your family have a most blessed and joyful Christmas 😅as we celebrate the birthday of Jesus
Set an alarm to remind you about the plug in
Thanks a great idea....I will have to put one for tonight....
It looks cold....
Not horribly, it was only -1
Not your bombing 18 in Vernon.
Promo`SM 😚
The camera is really poor, swinging and bouncing. Can't focus on snything. Maybe it needs a stabilizer?
Think they are called silkies

Rather relaxing to watch. 🙂
Damn, electric fence! 😳
I think Steve would be a great name for the buck
😂 but what would I name the donkey?
"Promosm"
Cute goats!
Such patience Maria. They are so cute ❤️
We apologize to everyone for how late our videos are, in late September just after the babies were born I ended up in the hospital and in early December I had surgery. Please be patient as I find my way back to posting...
I was going to suggest you put more music in your videos but, well, you are 🙂.
Margret will regret abandoning Malibu! Malibu is beautiful, feisty and “in charge” with the other babies! She is adorable!
From Terry of Kentucky.Anna is my daughter. You sure needed a Shepherd's Hook to capture her.
Where did you get the alu canopy?
The dealership that we bought the tractor from, custom makes those canopies. I’ve left their link in the comments.
@@Brunskillfarms Thanks. Already did. Just bought a new CK3520SE HST myself. New models just out this week.
So cute!
The pigs are loving that water! Great job getting that barn up! The goats are so cute!
Thank you
If you decide to keep raising pigs, The Mindful Homestead has some great information in their videos on raising them. We love watching your videos. 😊
Thank you. I will 👀
Leanne is an awesome narrator and you guys have an adorable chemistry. It will be fun to watch you grow. Hey maybe swearing and calling each other on it could be your thing. Oh maybe it already is 😊
Thanks Ken. Having Leanne here for those few weeks was a lot of fun. I can’t wait till she’s back for a visit. Of course I will get her to help with a couple of things 🙃
Did the Ducks attack you?
The day before the one mum, Betty, got me good!
Hello from eastern NC in USA. Congrats on your new tractor. I’ve had the same model for a year and a half now and love it. Hope it serves you well. 🚜
Thank you. It’s been amazing and I live working with it. But so far the only time I get to drive it is when Graham is off on set some place. Hopefully he gets a call soon 😁
Where can I get those!!!!!!!!!😲😦😧🤯
Are you asking about the jackets? I got them from the dollar store. They are dog jackets. I had to move the velcro strip to make the neck smaller but I think I paid $4.50
