@@Lambchop6341 definitely louder but it does sound more tinny. With the valves closed I still had the issue of the valve spring rattling, which annoyed me overtime. I swapped out the exhaust with a q300. I'm yet to do a video on it

@S4MICHURC only when stationary. Update won't fix it, it only brings that annoying speed alert that comes with newer models. I'm avoiding updating it

@@jonttran1092 pretty good actually. I had one issue with the car misfiring which was annoying. Couldn't figure out the issue till after warranty expired which turned out to be one of the injectors being faulty. 1k job 🥲 mechanic did a walnut blast for me for an extra $280 as there was some carbon build up. Other than that it's been smooth sailing 👍

Edit: In saying that, it's a pretty tight track though so you probably do need a bit of movement with the hands. Just a bit less.

@@jonttran1092 if you can, try and get your hands on the facelift turbo. A prefacelift I saw without it being tuned hit 200.3kW / 460.4Nm

Thanks for watching! There's definitely more room for power, but I told him I'd prefer something in line for a more 'safe' tune for longevity. Car feels a lot quicker now, much more pull. In regards to your other comment yeah wheel spin is a limiting factor for FWD :P

I have almost the same set up on a pfl and got tuned at cherry recently as well. After speaking with them, the cars usually don't make more than 250kw tops with fbo. You'd probably have to upgrade the clutch for any more power than this depending on the age of the car. I'm spinning wheels well into third gear tho at 235kw. It's a lot of power for a hatch.

@@MarcosNBA14 That's right. I set mine to Sport before I switched it. Set it to what you wanna use the most in N custom prior to swapping

Not too sure, I plugged in everything the pre facelift head cables had into the new one. Nothing more, nothing less

@@Tungg_ hmm, thank you for reply. Do you have maybe picture of the back somewhere? I am wondering where are differences. When I check EU 10 inch version of this radio I see another more likely square connector which is on the left side of the back panel. It is half size of the this two right ones which are the biggest.

hello, I'm asking for info, I replaced the 5 inch radio with a 10.25 facelift, do the connectors have to be repinned? because my radio doesn't turn on with the click and now I can't even turn it on, it just lights up.. thank you

@@300kilowatt ❤️ happy it helped. Can't notice anything from the amp because it's tucked away, no buzzing noises on my end. Did you also cut the cable?

Do you have a red wire on the connector which goes into the amp?

@@Tungg_ my guess is everything will probably be okay except for the engine/performance related functions, I'll let you know if I do it, having some problems on mine so good excuse to try for an upgrade instead of just a replacement

@@4btalbatraoz812 no I tried to put an aftermarket Android one in but the reverse camera wasn't wired properly to use factory so I just sent it back, still running stock

@@yeetenman Hello, Normal hyundai i30 2019 model i changed the 8 inch display to 10.25 and works nice. There is a little problem, My old connectors was good but i can only reach 1/2 FM stations. I think I need a second antenna modul.

@@sebek_g I've tried flipping the spring a few times. Seems to be the muffler itself, I'm in the process of finding another stock muffler to replace it and see if it fixes it

Have you figured out, What’s the issue already?

@@marian.Pisoja I've been to the mechanic and he reckons it's the muffler. Possibly the valve being faulty. Cherry Tuning - he specialises in KDM cars. I'm still looking for another muffler from a wreckers
