the first one is using the lubed ktt kang white, the second one is using lubed red switch (idk what is that red, it came from the za981 and it has mx style). i think you should read this first.

If there’s tape in it it’s most likely you have put too much tape in the spacebar or there’s loose tape in there that’s sticking to something
I only did 1 layer tape mod in the space bar. Used the masking tape too.

That spacebar is a little bit too hollow, but it less now.

@@nissangtrskyline123 for tray mount keebs you can get the dampening gummy o-rings, you can get about 30 pcs and fit it on the standoffs (don't screw the board after mods). It will make your keyboard physically gasket mounted. I think you have to try it out, it was easy and useful, especially those who using cheap keyboards on amazon.

@@Clackn the za981 v2, only 1 mode, outemu socket hot swap. It wad a stock sound test but i modded myself with my homemade frankenswitches.

Stock keycaps... It comes with the keyboard
I have that with a lot of my boards if I use short pole switches! I can recommend the AKKO Piano Pro or even AKKO Yello Pro for spacebars :)
@@AquaPeet Like the GMMK Compact Barebones, this keyboard only supports 3-pin socket board, while they are 5-pin. I have no idea how i can clip these legs on 5 pin switches since i don't have anything to clip the legs. So if you can, tell me one of the best budget switches that support 3-pin and outemu socket. I'm currently ordering the Leobog Graywood V3s for my another keeb, but i have to get a better one with this.

@@hugekbsmasher_real Oh it's very easy, they're just two little plastic pins you can cut off with a sharp hobby knife. It doesn't take much effort! :)

Both the technique in this video an d the one you mentioned work, but I would just use keycap puller.
@@ThatChromebookPlayer yes, it might broke your stem hole with most ABS keycaps. I recommended for you using the keycap puller to pull it out. And btw wassup gd player.

Dude speed running the video... I think i need to slow it down to 0.75
It has the knob too... edit: it has hot swappable, so i think you need to custom it with another switches, but not every switches can fits well. I recommended for you using some budget switches thats fits well with the case like ktt kang white, ktt grapefruit, akko v3 cream yellow/blue or maybe more, or you should lube these reds... Because of the stock reds has a pingy noise in the spring, so i recommend you for lube it (if you has a lubing oil) or custom it with another switches.
