Do you have one of those tube weights on a wacky rig?
@@bryanreed8408 It's a Varivas tungsten weight with a 2cm dropper and their size#1 weedless mosquito hook. It fishes like a jig and is a great jig follow up presentation using a whacky Senko
I've got a full video on it
@ definitely watching
I dont belive you
Pretty cool idea. Kind of like a Tokyo rig or a dropshot with a very short leader.
@@rickjorstad6666 Thanks. Same premise as those you mentioned. These components go together nicely.
it's a lipless more than a bladebait
Cool 😎🎣🇺🇸
Good info 👍🎣🇺🇸
@@billsutorius2753 thank you sir
Absolutely love them , I have at least 6 of them for my BFS setups
Great tips! 👍🎣🇺🇸
@@billsutorius2753 Thank you! I'm glad you found them helpful.
Wish they would have gone throughout the boat with the vinyl. Carpet is the absolute worst boat flooring option out there. Once it gets nasty it’s staying that way for the rest of the time you own the boat, also the sun destroys carpet way faster than most realize, even if your boat is garage kept.
What HP engine?
@@garlandalmarode6396 115 Hp Mercury Pro XS
Good info man! 👍🎣🇺🇸
Thanks!
Ok 1222 it is
Cool. I am going to get a second one! I think you'll love it
How long is rod storage??
The port storage will hold 3 rods @7'6" and the center main locker has 12 tubes @8'. You can take the tubes out and hold 30 too
OK thank you
They’re nice looking boats but the electrical falls well short of safe and quality . Take the makeup off and you’ll run from Crestliners .
Sorry your experience hasn't been good. I've been running this boat for years and have no issues at all.
@@BrianGaberFishing FYI Check all of your harnesses to see if they go through and under your floor and are open not sealed connections from your helm and toggles to your engine and accessories. Mine were stuffed below the floor unseen and corroded the recirculating pump had a blue open in connector laying in the bottom of the hull was corroded and arcing, caused to burn and split filling the boat up with water stuck 3 miles out and shorting out the power to the helm and engine . The builder pump fuse was attached. 4 inches from the pump also shorted out from being underwater. It’s a 2023 2000Bay love the boat but Crestliner lost all dealers in my area now the reply was it’s my problem. Same with Lowe’s they do not offer warranty for shabby assembly work. Brunswick corporation wasn’t any help either .
I have owned my Crestliner CX1860 for 19 years, looks as good as the day i bought it and the Yamaha 90 HP runs great.
I scared of the issues of this unit thar I see in garmin forum....you have a lot of issues with this unit...I do want one...
I have countless hours on a gpsmaps1022 with no prob at all
Thanks. I haven't heard of issues. I've owned and used mine extensively now for a couple of years and it seems bullet proof to me. I have some graph glass on it, though! I am considering a second. One for forward and one for perspective. In my opinion, it's a great unit.
@@markgriffith1983 My experience too
Do u except Venmo or PayPal I’m interested
Ultimately the dealership will finalize the sale. I can send you the direct contact info, if you let me know how you'd like to be contacted.
My dream vessel 🤤🤤
I love reaction Tackle . They have really good stuff for way less than most other brands . Just bought 2 football jigs for $10. They look amazing
@@Allyourbase1990 Agreed. You'll like that jig. Hooks stay sharp. Fish after fish
Wow! Boats are getting way too expensive.
For sure. If you get one, it has to be versatile.
Is not that boats are getting more expensive, it's inflation devaluing the dollar.
Very nice rig! Curious as to the length of the trolling motor? Also if you have the time could you mention about the rear step ladder set up, you mentioned a bracket I think. I have a 2000 Crestliner CVX-182 & would love to have a rear ladder for the swimmers I occasionally carry. Thanks! Lastly just want to state that I've had my Crestliner for almost 25 years & love it as much as did in 2020.
Thanks! Trolling motor is 52 inch. I have a swim ladder for it. The bracket was a Powerpole mounting bracket that I put on and left on for the buyer. It was put on during the mounting of the motor, and I left it on for the new owner. I didn't want to have the motor taken off to get the bracket off. If the new owner doesn't get Powerpoles, no bit deal. If they do want to go with them, the mounts are there for it.
Nice
Thanks! They are comfortable and fishable
That sounds looney😅
😅😅
Good Info 👍🎣🇺🇸

I really like soft jerkbaits in the fall.
@@itszach6808 weightless?

@@williamturner6527 Thank you
Underused bait for sure! Have you tried cutting a slit on the underside of the tube to your hook so you can texpose it with only going through one layer of plastic?
@@LoadtheBoatwithZach I haven't yet, but will try that too! Thanks
Good stuff, I tend to fish too fast and not get into position.
@@toadmarz That's it! Thank you
I live in SW FL. Change hooks to single 2/0. Much easier to catch & release, injures the fish less (and me) . More hookups, surprisingly.
@@bobsmoot2392 you flooded out down there, or ok?
@@bobsmoot2392 For sure on the danger!
What kind of 2/0 hooks? And 1 or 3 total hooks?
@@justinmalone8640 3 total. I always use Mustad Ultra point 2x short 1x strong. mustad-fishing.com/us/product/tg76np/?hookSize=2&colorName=Red+Blonde&packQuantity=6

Thanks dude!!
Thank you!
I throw a lot of Reaction Tackle stuff as well. Don’t see it repped much.
@@Daddy_Daiwa you have any favorites?
@@BrianGaberFishing I like their swim jigs, bladed jigs, braid and Ned heads. I’ve always liked their hooks. Sticky and I’ve never opened one up.
@@Daddy_Daiwa Same on the sticky jigs. It's what brought me to them originally. I really like the bladed jig too...very compact and love the shape of the head vs the competition.
0* baits

Would like to know the knot strength. I tried this knot and got snagged and it broke off rather easy
Good to know. I haven't had it break yet. I have searched around and seen some personal testimonials about breaking this one sooner that the Palomar.
What size hooks? Thanks.
@@denishanley7428 I have used size 4 and 2
ive just been starting to play with the zman swimbaits. they're so soft the tail moves pretty good too at slow speeds. and you can literally use 1 or 2 all day its incredible.
Keitech baits for the price are not worth it. I can use the same z-man minnowz bait all day and never have to change it.
@@rolandburket1262 Zman makes some indestructible lures
Would have liked to see demonstration of your swimbait cadence, I feel like I struggle with that the most, slow retrieve or a pop and pause etc. I feel like I never have confidence in what I am doing and what it looks like on the bottom.
@@camaro6810 Yesterday we caught a bunch with this technique. It was windy, which is when I like to use them most. We were just casting and retrieving to keep the bait high in the column. The barometer was higher and the fish were suspended. I'm finding I didn't need to do anything fancy with the retrieve other than have it in the right level of the water column. If the fish are down, I try to keep it low. If they're suspended, keep it up. I'm using my live imaging to see if they are up or down. Two ways to develop some confidence are to 1) find a tapering wind blown rock point in a lake with smallmouth and 2) cast down a summertime weedline or point in a lake with largemouth where there's a good minnow bite. On the weedline reel just fast enough to keep off the bottom. On the rocky point reel fast enough to keep it within 1 ft of surface. Then hang on!
@@BrianGaberFishing great advice, looking forward to trying the tapering wind blown rock point up on Kabetogama for some smallies in another week. Really enjoy the educational content, thanks!
@@camaro6810 Thank you, and good luck!
Keitech swing impact fats are great, most of the best soft plastics have bad durabilty. Not a problem, I usually switch them out before they get too torn up. Take a pile of used baits home and take a hot knife to them or use some mend it. Unless the tails get bitten off it's pretty easy to repair them if you want to be stingy
@@SimonC82686 good advice!
I just picked up a battery from a guy want to sell for my 2004 volvo xc90 6 cylinders i got home looked at the battery closer it turn to be deep cycle battery but its say 900 CCA which is my car need can i still hook it up to my car or what is the deal with those deep cycle battery's ?
The structural difference between deep-cycle and cranking lead-acid batteries is in the lead battery plates. Deep cycle battery plates have thicker active plates, with higher-density active paste material and thicker separators. Alloys used for the plates in a deep cycle battery may contain more antimony than that of starting batteries. The thicker battery plates resist corrosion through extended charge and discharge cycles. All that said, you can start your car with it provided it provides the current required (the 900 CCA's). I would remember though that the deep cycle is ultimately designed for a lot of complete discharges, rather than the quick shot of starting power.
good one but i never use braid for swim baits
@@jeffderenzo1500 helps me get hooked up more in the wind which is mostly when I'm fishing it, but would love to hear what you've experienced
"Give me that fillet of fish" "give me that fish..."
I watched this video at the edge of a 175 acre reservoir with my kayak in the water with only the very end lightly setting on the bank to hold it in place while I was in search of some last-minute fishing advice I only have four or five years of serious seasons of fishing under my belt and while that seems like a lot to some people someone with your knowledge and experience would know like I do that the amount of time I have fished is absolutely nothing😂 I used your advice and caught a very nice bass today and it made my weekend thank you so much!!!! I get to go back to work tomorrow with a smile on my face !😀😀

Do you run the Livescope and the 1022 on that one battery 32AH ?
@@malcolmzoll7613 Yes. All day with no issues. Charges fully overnight

Do you recommend feathered hooks for the rear of the lure?
@@trophyarmorfishingadventur9194 this one is a sinking lure, so it might not make a difference. I'm typically fishing this so fast to mimic a sleeping minnow they wouldn't see it. I do feather up almost all top water
