Written by Dimitri Tomkins and Ned Washington for the 1957 film of the same name, Wild Is The Wind is a captivating song in each of its guises. Went with David Bowie's 1978 arrangement for this. Really love Nina Simone's version too and enjoyed incorporating some Johnny Mathis inflections to make a brew ;)

Just a friendly reminder to everyone that Roy Orbison didn't write I Drove All Night! "Tom Kelly" & "Billy Steinberg" wrote the song for Roy. However, it never got released until after his death. Cyndi Lauper recorded the song and released it in 1989. That was the first time it's ever been released. Roy's version was released in 1992. Celine Dion's version was released in 2000. Fun facts! :) Love Roy's and Cyndi's very much and each has their own unique style.
