What size or how do you order the pipe?
@@mogong7260 the pipe for the frame or the fork???
@@mogong7260 oh OK you’re talking about the pipe for the frame. I went to Lowe’s here in town. It’s a hardware store and I picked it up there. Normally, you can find it at most metal shops or large hardware stores.

Have you had problems with the front break locking up? Mines about 1 month old and the front break locks up while riding I ended up taking it off.

Those slugs should work in the original mags. I think its the belt that allows them to roll.
@@jeffbenjamin6480 they’re not supposed to roll
I got the same bike all the tanks are like thayvlmao
No do not use that thats silicone oil for metal on metal thats no go I got sfl 0 grease very thin good for metal on metal, I advise you take it apart and clean it all out and get some thinner grease for metal on metal not silicone.
@@marksman349 yeah I removed all of that but the stuff you’re using is way too thick. I already checked that out. Don’t get me wrong it’s very good. gun grease but you want to use something that’s more like an oil rather than a grease however, I am using A PCP Airgun grease and a very little bit of full synthetic oil that is obviously used for metal on metal to cut the grease a little bit you want that thing to be slick as snot but not runny lol😁
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 mine might be too slick I sometimes had it clip the magazines I took them apart and wound em up an checked em to make sure I can cycle it with heavier weights full mag, Crazy firerate around 2000 rpm once power is turned up firerate goes up aswell
A full magazine at a heavy weight will pull the clip down. You need to put a padding on the rest underneath the clip. The clip cannot slide down against the rest or else it will cause possible jamming

What Carb Got the link?
Sorry for the late reply it is the nibbi 28mm flat slide carburetor? I got it on Amazon.
The 28mm isn’t too big? I was going with a 24 because that’s what nibbi recommended. Any tips? I have a clogged stock carb so hopefully an answer on this soon
@@moocowgomoo9 I normally just go with what the bike comes with, but I was wondering the same thing myself on my 190
Love the dbx1 man! Wish I could show you mine. I'm looking to extend my swingarm but mine is aluminum
I think the tank offset it to make it easier to fill it do believe. I don't mind mine this little bike rips.
I just got mine and i am wanting to do a stretch do you make and sell you’re own kits?
No, I just kind of wing it. I used I believe I used a 1” x 2” rectangle tubing, and a solid steel bar inside the swing arm to connect the pieces
Do you know what type of oil I should use for the bike
I use 10 W 30 in the winter and 10 W 40 in the summer
The green and red matches perfect

i like it from nepal i want thes gun
My clutch lever just snapped after my bike fell over & didn't think I had any choice for an upgrade till I seen this video. Can I put pretty much anyone I want on?
Almost anyone you want, but a little measuring is involved and possibly even some modifications to the new lever but they’re usually pretty simple. Just make sure you get everything matched up as good as possible. Maybe even bring your old lever to a bike shop sometimes they will have what you’re looking for.!!
Awesome. Thank you very much for replying I appreciate it!
I bought a 140cc engine and the cheapest Amazon clutch lever mfer broke while tightening it
@@Pnb_daniel I wouldn’t use the cheapest but you also don’t need the most expensive. I trie to keep it around in the $25 range that usually worked pretty good for me.
I almost guarantee I know who you're talking about, there's plenty of bad reviews of a big company that pops up on every Google search selling stuff. Which is sad.
What do you think about the frame? I'm trying to build the lightest lightest 190 pitbike possible, I'm going to build a street legal dual sport pitbike. Of course can never find people that think outside the box.
The frame is definitely heavy I would say it’s not the greatest for racing. If you’re looking for a budget bike, it will do but if you’re looking for a real racing ripper, I would suggest looking into a different frame this one is entry level at best.
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 that frame is suppose to be chromoly. I see tons of videos of people racing at tracks and jumping the piranha 190. I CAN'T FIND ANYWHERE, how much the frame itself weights. CAN YOU WEIGH IT? I weighed my grom clone, I got a piece of wood the same height as the scale , put rear tire on wood and front tire on scale, same with other wheel. My grom clone weighs 210. But no way I can get on back of a semi without possibly dropping it.
@@letsgetit3310 yeah, you can race them but if you’re looking for lightweight that isn’t the way to go lightweight would be aluminum not metal but it’s personal preference really
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 HAS to be steel. (Chromoly) not only that aluminum doesn't make it lighter. Yes same amount of mass of aluminum is lighter than steel, but for it to have any strength it has to 3x as much or whatever exact amount it is. Also of course depends on the engineering, but regardless on engineering. . Mass for mass aluminum will break. I need steel anyways, the only way to make a street legal pit bike is to take a currently registered bike cut it off at the neck and build a custom frame. Ain't no different then chopping a chopper or old harley. Absolutely no other way . Can't make dirt bike legal here.
@letsgetit3310 well my thoughts on the piranha frame is that it is too heavy for a (good) race bike. The strength is there no doubt about it, but it also seems like you know your frames I don’t know why you are asking what I think about the frame as far as a lightweight race frame in my opinion it is too heavy for A big competition but that’s just my opinion
DO YOU BELIEVE the frame is really chromoly? I'm looking for a chromoly frame, I'm looking to build the LIGHTEST possible 190 pitbike i can. I'm 270 so i can only sacrifice so much tho.
OK I took a look on the Internet. It says that the frame is steel it doesn’t say Cromoly It says that it’s a steel frame.
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 it does say all over the place that its chromoly. Chromoly is still steel, so what's the truth i don't know. I'm not sure that the frame would have been made that way if it was not chromoly.
Man, i can't find any extended swingarms for sale, . How long did you extend yours. Stock 420mm wtf? 16.5 inch or something. That's way too short. Grom swingarm like 20 . So I'm going to build a bike from scratch, the sr170tx has a frame like grom or crf50. The piranha and pitster is perimeter frame. I was even looking at full size dirt bike swingarms, I'm wondering if a perimeter frame swingarm can work on a backbone crf50 type frame. I was originally looking at 25 inch, found a 23 inch that was light.
Did you ever get the right intake elbow?
Yes, I believe so and that bike I sold about a month ago
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580Do you have an instagram or something I can message you on? I have some more questions. Just got a really clapped out DBX1 and wanting to rebuild it now.
Wow holy crap my old rc cars had bigger batteries. . That little battery started the 190... so why the heck does my grom clone need such a big battery? I mean i get i have blinkers and taillight, but still. I guess odometer too. I know there is a different kind of battery i can get for it, but dang i wish it was that small. I need to build the lightest power house i can. Trying to build a bike i can pick up and throw on back of a semi.
You have to be careful using those batteries you have to disconnect the charging system or else you’re charging system. Will try to charge the battery and it can blow up on you. You have to charge the RC car battery separate so if you’re going to use one of those batteries make sure, absolutely sure to disconnect the charging system that your motor has
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 that's not what I'm saying. I'm just stating your battery is small..
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 groms batteries are way bigger. I know you can get a lighter smaller battery. But never did i see one that small you have.
@@letsgetit3310 ohhh lol ok
Love that swing arm.
Did you ever weigh your bike? I need the lightest 190 bike i can get. Pirahna is so beautiful, sales sites say like 160 pounds dry ( but with dual exhaust) as much as i want a pirahna, the pitster pro states 143/ 148 with bigger wheels. That's a big difference.
Sorry for the late reply no, I never weighed the bike before
Swingarm is sweet! Need that on my grom clone.
The one that’s on my bike is the original I just modified it!
Where are you getting the green aluminum chain adjusters and brake parts
Those came on the bike when I got it but I believe you can also get them on Amazon
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 cool nice job on the swing arm ready for hill climbing
@matthaug3104 I sold that bike just recently, but I still have the five speed piranha!
Where did you get that air filter from man
I got it on Amazon. I think it’s called a pancake air filter. And if I remember correctly, it is not a prime item.
Sounds great
Thank you!!
That's one hell of a build 💪🏼💯🔥🔥🔥extra unique✨️
i need a swing arm that size
I stretched that swing arm, but if you decide to stretch your swing arm, be careful you only have one shot to get it right if you get any part of it wrong, you will ruin your swing arm
This is amazing, Are you based in Australia?
No, I am in New Mexico USA
Isn’t the brake on upside down? 🙃
How long did the bike last before you started having problems?
I noticed in the first week when I tried to kickstart it, it would get stuck like the gearing was jamming up inside
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580how did you fix that problem?😅
Is the bike holding up?😮
Well, after I got the new motor for it and handlebars, throttle throttle cable, brakes, a few other loose odds and ends little bit of modifications to the frame yeah, I would say it’s holding up now 😁😁😁
Nice build. With a motor that big, i'd gear very carefully with that series 30 clutch. Shoot for 30 mph max speed, at 3500 or so rpm. Use revs to go faster. This will be alot slower than your current gearing, but it will be very torqey and fun. You can remove one of the primary clutch springs entirely, and they used to make lighter springs. They also used to make a heavier yellow spring for the secondary, that would help alot with the increased torque from these big motors. Ive had a setup like this going 65 mph, but it shredded belts and destroyed primary clutches until i geared it lower. Hopefully that all makes sense, for your consideration.
Very nice of you to lend a hand. However, this is not my first go round with one of these motors. This thing has been built up with a performance cam it has been port and polished and shaved. It has the black, venom roller rockers and titanium pushrods a performance carburetor, this thing idles at roughly around 2000 to 2500 RPMs or at least I think it does🤔 anyhow, as far as the clutch I stretch the springs the bottom, one more than the top so it engages quicker and I shaved down the torque converter belt on the flat side so it does not throw you forward when you ease off the throttle Therefore, it has much better coasting. top speed with one of these motors is 63 miles an hour before building it up!
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 stock series 30? Other than mentioned mods?
@@CK-mf6du 30 series torque converter. Yes, but I wouldn’t call it stock. Cheap yes, lol
@@TheManCaveMetalFab2580 pins and weights stock in primary?
That's what went to crap for me, the conservative gearing helped keep them together tho. Ultimately just went to series 40 then I could hold the torque alot better, and go faster without parts blowing up. That was one of those fancy red predator 459cc engines. Even 40 series hard to hold the torque.
