It's important to leave this cult, it a massive fraud, and this organization has lied to its membership for 150 years. The god they worship is a fraud. There never was such a god in history.

I always wonder what so special about leaving one church and joining the other out thousands of such all over the place, why the noise?

I grew up Mormon, served a mission, kind of did all the Mormon things. I too have left my religion because I felt like there were a lot of things that were being taught/asserted that simply weren’t true. The amount of mental gymnastics that Mormonism requires in order to believe, especially now with the internet, is completely astounding. What I found with my encounters with JWs in the past is that they have all been very kind people, but as you said, they are extremely close minded to anything outside of what their religion teaches. I think Mormonism has this too, but not to the extreme as what I saw in JW. Mormonism also has disfellowshipped and excommunication but there is no shunning (although I’m sure it happens at an individual level) The hardest part when leaving is that you no longer feel a common connection with those people you shared a faith/religion with. So even if there is no commanded or explicit shunning, the relationships still end up deteriorating. For me I still believe in God, still a conservative, voting for Donald Trump, but I also truly respect those that feel and think differently.

My hearts breaks for you. I am a Christuan. Pleaee seek God. All relogiond have man made elements. But God is God. Let him reveal himeslf to you when you are ready. God loves you!

I come from a JW family but never got baptized into it but it’s sad that this religion causes people to not accept the existence of God or a higher power. I don’t understand how you can live day to day and not visually see it’s something greater than human existence because science and history cannot and does not explain it all either. This is sad. I’m still a Christian and believe, though I’m not a practicing JW. I was smart enough to know it wasn’t something right about the organization but not crazy enough to think it’s not a real God. I have experienced trauma too and I have also experienced some supernatural miracles in my life too. Great video and I pray you all continue to find your way in your new life.

I am glad you found your way out. The Jehovah Witnesses I imagine can put a bad taste in people's mouth because it's more about religion (trying to do good enough to be saved) rather than a real relationship with God that's based out of being accepted by God through His merit (not our own). The JW's put God as a too distant thinking only 144,000 go to heaven for example, but the Bible teaches that believers are actually seated with Christ in the heavenlies NOW (a spiritual union where we can know Him personally NOW). There's so much hope in true biblical truth where we don't try to earn our way anywhere but are fully accepted and loved through Christ (His perfectness covers us when we accept Him.) From that place of freedom we enjoy relationship with Him and follow Him from there. The JW's put a lot of effort in for having such little hope compared to true followers of Christ.

My prayer is that you both Grow to know the loving God that does exist 🙏 ❤you will have no regrets

I was a JW for over 20 plus years and finally left a little over four years ago. I was always one who questioned things and was even called on the carpet as a conspiracy theorist before they would recommend me as a ministerial servant. But I was always one who would question things and even prayed and ask God to know who he is. About science. Politics. Education.Astrology. Medicine. And so forth. And I can tell you that the more you look into all these things you will be amazed that just like the Jehovahs Witnesses and their history that “EVERYTHING” is filled with half truths and lies that are protected by the world’s institutions. And just like the JW’s. If you question these things too loudly. They also will ridicule and even shun you if you challenge their authority with half truths that they hold dear. Have you ever wondered if they really find a cure to cancer, will the cancer foundations really release the cure? Have you ever ask for picture proof of our solar system is located in the milky way galaxy? Remember. This country has deceived people about its real history and its involvement in mass genocides. So question everything. Keep an open mind in humility. If you look outside of the box of the compartmentalization of the ideology of this world for truth. You’ll see that just as the Bible has been and altered by men. All other things too have been altered.

Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.

Thanks for sharing! It was quite an interesting story. I believe you're in a great place and my prayer for you and your family, is that you find the truth of WHO GOD is! I can totally understanding your journey. It only takes asking... and I'm sure you've done that already. I believe Our Heavenly Father opened your eyes to see the darkness and see that is a troubled society! I pray you will come to know and Love God the one who died to save you and have His truths revealed. Just ask Him for His Holy Spirit and He will teach you all about Him. it’s not about a religion it’s about relationship! God desires that with us, we His Children through creation and redemption. I’m getting a divorce because of this controlling organization she don’t have time for reality anymore she’s so fantastic and my kids are forced to attend I am very said about this we been together for 20 yrs I’ve studied before so I did get a understanding for myself we broke the lease and now we separating in two weeks I’m trying my best and worst to open her eyes nothing is working I can move on but it’s always gonna be on my conscience until I die and that’s what eats me up inside 😩

I studied on an off got close to baptism but I stopped started again and things didn't add up for me I walked away. I have a good friend wants their approval and they disfellowship cause of a untrue situation and felt the loneliness from them but scared to venture out to meet to ppl but so worried about their(jw) views. I feel my friend is better off without them. I let them make their own decision.

I have family trying to pull me into JW, studying, inviting me to meetings (I went to a few), etc. But as soon as I saw how they seem to shun education and thinking for yourself, and they are patriarchal, judgmental on small things that aren’t even bad, the disdain they have towards anyone that do not hold the same beliefs as them (very narcissistic), and much more that just does not make sense. I avoided them like the plague!!

I'm thrilled to hear that you've left the cult, but I must express my concern that you haven't yet found the true Jesus Christ of the Bible. I want you to know that salvation can only be found in Him, not in any cult or organization. I pray that one day you will come to know the true Jesus and experience the transformative power of His love and grace. My grandparents are JW but my mum left before she had me. I actually found Christ aged 19 and have been a Christian since. I do appreciate this video because it's such a big move, not easy to leave at all. But I just want to say please don't give up on GOD. He loves you sooooo much and still has a plan for you BOTH. God really works all things out for our good, I know it may not seem like it now. Before I was saved, I just prayed that the LORD would reveal himself to me and he did. I know he will do it for you both because he really does care about you. God bless you...I'll be praying for you guys :)

Awesome. Thank you both for the telling of your life story with this cult. The dangers of this religion has merits, it must be exposed, always. And yes, if God is almighty, all knowing, with the highest moral standards, humanity would never ever be in a state of suffering. Thirty four years ago I left the WT organization, not for just questioning their 1914 doctrines. There is no evidence to convince me that there is a moral God that cares.
