Also i didn't think you needed to mute the audio it is just the original Japanese OP playing on a loop the official channel who did the anime uploads the full uncut language episodes with the OP and ED to many users uploaded it just an FYI

Your on the disc video on the Sonic X Japanese Language Collection Blu-ray is blocked due to copyright issues from TMS Entertainment. Is there any other way I can watch it?

I'm newer to anime on BD. I've only owned and watched Cowboy BeBop on Blu-Ray but that's played in English in the U.S pretty standard. I found Sailor Moon streaming on Freevee and Pluto for free but unfortunately it's just the Japanese audio with subtitles. I generally prefer dubs because then I can pay attention to the image, if I watch a subtitled version, I end up spending most of the time reading and don't feel like I get to watch and experience the show nearly as much. So I'm very glad this set is complete with many different ways to view it to fit to the viewers needs. I also like that if I do want to go watch the show with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles, I have that option. Great job Viz!

I'll bite. Yeah Angel Cop was my favourite UK anime (manga lol?) VHS back in 1997 from a bargain bin of HMV VHS having most of the episodes. Interestingly I didn't get to see the first episode until the internet many years later. The blu ray remaster is gorgeous but plays funny in a postcard format due to a weird VLC screen compression. I got mine on torrent though.

It's great that SDBD [Blu-ray] have realeased past cartoon/anime series like Adventure of Sonic the Hedgehog for example, I'm hoping they'll continued to released past Cartoon/anime Series that weren't given a chanced like my favourites Cardcaptors (Nelvana), Spider Riders, Yo Kai Watch, Mucha Lucha, Creepy Crawliers, Biker Mice From Mars, Blazing Dragon, Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Mary Kate and Ashley in Action and maybe other Gormiti series that were given a chance to be released like Gormiti : The Neorganic Evolution (season 3), Gormiti Nature Unleashed and Gormiti: Heralds of Gorm.

I’m basically here because the 4K version has been out for a bit now , and as far as features go / bonuses … it looks nearly identical to this collectors edition blu ray. Hopefully the picture looks cleaner on my PS4 Pro / PS5

I see that the episodes are not in order in conjunction with their original air date like the previous shout factory releases.

I've already got the complete series of Sonic X on SDBD Blu- ray this year so I can enjoy watching the episodes but I still prefer the english version so I can be able apper to understand what the characters are saying . Future cartoons I hope Discotek remasters. The Grim Adventures of Billy And Mandy (Might not be possible since Maxwell Atoms doesn't really want to work with Warner Bros again due to his treatment. But if it somehow did, with his inclusion, they could have like 42 episodes separately for 2 bluray sets, with the second set including Big Boogey Adventure), Invader Zim, Taz-mania, Tiny Toons Adventures (Including the special and the movie)

As someone who loved watching this show as a kid (in all its 4Kids "glory"), this would be an interesting set to have. Shame it's so expensive and you have to pick between the dub or sub. I guess it's a bit much to ask them to throw the 2019 discs in, but it still seems a shame that the two versions ended up split like this. The Alternative English Opening is what aired in the UK (or at least on CITV), but the closing credits still used 'Gotta Go Fast'.
