Make sure to check you absolutely have all Statues, check a guide on their locations and double check you have them all. Once your done you should be able to get the Tunic from the shop usually at the bottom of the Menu. If that still isnt working for you then there might be a issue, one i dont have the know how to fix.

Long story short: this was done with a very specific ruleset that there wasn't enough time to go into detail with in the short. A wall kick was allowed provided that you can get into a position that you can execute it without actually jumping

Oh your not wrong! Iv heard about him in passing but honestly there was more fun to figuring a lot of this stuff out myself. Mario 64 has been broken down, rebuilt and turned into Zelda by the community so i imagine if i really researched it i could have gotten everything, was just more fun this way :)

I don't think I have ever heard anyone say the boss is hard to be honest. Some of the Darkerside broodal fights can be annoying but most bosses are usually easy.

Oh yeah I heard about that a while ago (this short is kinda getting old), its helped me a tonne in my playthrough!

Are you talking about me collecting the star on top of that platform? I just did that kick that i said i did to get over the gap again. you need to hold A which CAN make you jump but i did it while mario was already in the air so he couldnt, Then its just pushing the punch button and he gains a tiny bit of height from the kick to get it.

Ah I see what bit your talking about. Yeah i said jump but its a Pole vault. If you wanna consider that a jump thats fine but for the full run that was a allowed rule.

Have you heard about the new shield jump going about right now? you basically take a rock, put it on the hylian shield or your most durable shield and the open up the menu before the fusion finishes and swap to another shield, then fuse the rocket to a weapon you can go back and find the original shield is fused and if you hold the shield surf inputs and spam b you can basically rocket shield surf indefinately

It was in the last game too, but the updraft that you got used to be a lot smaller (I think).

you sorta can? Its just takes longer to be allowed to un-equip so its not as reliable. If you do something like a jump downhill or just from a general height you usually can but on a flat plain or a jump uphill yeah...durability gets used up. Not that its really that bad since by the time you get something beyond a pot lid you usually can do it without worrying about durability.

Good point actually. The Zonai Vehicle depots found down there do give you more than enough to play with. I wish i had enough time in the short to have mentioned this (I guess i need to make a full video on this short now lol).

Someone's found a lot of little ways to really move! Amazing! Its super awesome how so many of these are intentional! For a game that's normally more about slower paced exploration and puzzle solving they really gave us the tools to make link run and jump around as if he's Mario in Mario odyssey

you know something? maybe im just not paying enough attention or im flying around too much or...i dunno but i have barely seen any octoroks, like maybe 1 or 2 outside of the zora domain and that was kinda it? They feel a lot rarer to find now. Its probably just because of the whole...y'know flying everywhere on rockets and gliding off islands thing.

I did think it was weird the moment Link meets Purah at the start of the game he breaks silence and screams "OH BOY SMOOCHING TIME" in the game lol

Heya sorry for the delayed response, yeah this short is almost a month old and tbh i completely missed pinecones when i made the video, its cool tho that something like that can happen! Still a lot of new things coming out! for example did you know that lasers if they hit stakes produce a pitch? people are now starting to make music in the game!
