Joel 😭 This scene tore me apart. It's been 4 years since Part II and I'm looking forward to The Las Of Us Part III. Its gameplay, graphics, music, characters and atmosphere are much more than many games, it really keeps the story alive, it is a great masterpiece.

There is something so beautiful about how they used future days here. The reverb makes it feel dreamlike, angelic. And the switch to a very tense, eerie tone at the end makes the coming events even more heart breaking if you know. And the ending guitar cords and final lyrics are just powerful. “Days of you and me”. Those words are going to haunt this series and be the heart and soul of the show. Genuinely moving music

What makes this interesting is Pearl Jam's Future Days was released in October 2013, shortly after the date of the outbreak in the game universe, so it was already an anachronism. The outbreak in the TV show happened in 2003, so if Joel sings the song, it'll be an even worse anachronism 😂
