Just what he wants
Thanks mate! I was just about to buy one of these and import to Germany from NZ. Those points you elaborated on was the turn off for me. The boxes that Hikoki already have im just not a fan of.
Modbox drawer system is best in slot. Hands down. End of debate. Everyone should get one. Don’t be the jobsite idiot rolling 700lbs of tools around then have to remove like 500lbs of tools off the top boxes to get to the circ saw at bottom box.
Toolfix in Dundalk sell Thoughbuilt.
Intresting to see what they will do about the drawer locks, I don't think Dewalt drawers lock either? How does the drawer sizes compare to Toughsystem and Packout?
Love the content. I'd love to see you review Qbrick and the OX tooltrek : )
Even though i have no interest in such stuff, like your videos and you give a glimpse to those who do want these things, what they will be buying or not. There is so much information now on what people can buy if they need such things, and youtube helps alot. Like i said, i do not want such things, your videos for me, are a good way to waste 10 mins. Sure you do help many with these videos, and it is good if the companies involved take on board your views, as you also have access to people who want these things, so you can read feedback from those who think such things are something they want or need to buy.
Shame on you Jonas available in 9 colours???? Are you not doing the new grey lol
Haha I recorded this video before launching grey, we are very much doing the new grey! 👍
I have the wheeled drawer, and the triple drawer ...great setup
Whats the best budget packout ?
looking forward to their 2.0 where they fix the design of the top to allow better stacking. I like the single drawer unit.
А они общают это сделать?
The answer is no because you can't get hold of it without jumping through hoops blindfolded with your feet tied together
Great bit of kit. I have a couple sets of drawers and a bunch of the organisers mounted in my work ute
Do you get a viewers from the US? Why do you not do a UK based test? These arent available in the UK that I can find?
We need black packout in the usa it's one of my biggest problems with it!
It's made of plastic and on wheels does a lock realy make it any more secure
Tough build has the cleanest nicest looking system, but their ability to keep inventory up and actual accessories coming sucks. No problem, finding boxes and all but getting a dolly or any accessories. Good luck.. waiting for any new products from them mid 2025 is ridiculous.
Best build quality by far. I absolutely love their white cooler too.
Nice boxes indeed
I have Bosch L-Boxx’s, Dewalt TStak, Milwaukee Packout and Stacktech. Stacktech is by far the best modular tool storage system.
Hey, just thought I’d mention, they also have two different cooler sizes for the stack tech system. (The white boxes.) I really love the quality of Toughbuilt, their tools and clip tech are very well made. Wish I could afford the stack tech.
The klein one does look like it was designed by toys r us
Reminds me of the old K’Nex boxes
Was like you were avoiding saying that they are 'toughbuilt' 😂
😅 it is Toughbuilt
@@shadowfoamplus exactly
I think they're hoping for European launch in may. At least that's the last I heard.
Should have message me . I could have sent you some.💪🏾🤨
Where are you based?
Texas . I’m currently looking at a way to get some AEG products from Australia but it’s harder than I thought!
Niggles?! 😂
😅 perks of a northern vocabulary
Great system but way too expensive for this weekend warrior.
Fair enough!
They do look the business!
They feel the business too mate, proper sturdy
How would you rate this against the new JcB system?
The JCB system is a generic system rebadged. There's about six companies essentially selling the same boxes
The latches and locking mechanism are very good on this system. Toughbuilt do have an adapter plate now to solve the stacking issue with the half boxes and Weihedesigns do a locking system for the drawers. For me probably a race to see when Stacktech becomes more available and when JCB bring out the drawers for their Site System become available. I think the JCB is a bit wider as well and would suit me better.
Sad part availability even in the usa it's hard and lowes is phasing them out. So we can't get them either easly! I do worry about the longevity of the brand as a whole too there mainstay cliptech people have moved on to veto and other options. It would be hard to convince someone to get a cheap pouch when there use to veto or something worth a darn.
@@MattHmm-rq6dn It does seem like a good system that they have invested a lot in, so hopefully it is a success for them. True, people using Veto may not want to look into the Cliptech system, but then not everyone wants to go to the expense of a Veto pouch. But then if you can't get the product to market, then people will certainly look elsewhere.
I did meet with toughbuilt. Turns out that there is a hurdle in the uk that needs dealing with but they are very tight lipped on the details. I’m hopeful that we might make some progress in the new year. They are very keen to start selling it as am I.
Just one word... expensive
Are you looking at the US prices?
@@shadowfoamplus They seem to cost more in £ here than in $ in states. 3 Drawer now £199 (out of stock) $177 approx (in Lowes including tax) so approx £140. Seems a large difference even allowing for some import duty. As others say hopefully with full effort into promoting in Europe prices will fall.
Need a UK mainland seller. The Irish shop is far far too expensive! Its a joke Toughbuilt promised Q1 2023 and its still not here. Joke.
Hopefully 2025 is the year 👍
@@shadowfoamplus UK had sellers lined up but stock issues killed that off. In Australia, 0 or little stock left and only part of the range here. Packout is still king, followed by Dewalt, AEG, Makpak. Had TB kit but returned them all-bloody heavy empty with design flaws.
Lol that's a golf 😂
😅
When do we get the Jona “Bentley” TikTok reel with a tool box system 😀
@@Gman4633 that’s a Toughbuilt StackTech I’d know that sound anywhere.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
@@Gman4633 yes please do this Jona.
Like all the systems but pound for pound think the new jcb might come out the winner
Maybe I’ll do a head to head video? 🤔
That's more individual Stacktech units on your work table than are available at my local Lowe's. Forget getting the work table (been waiting for months). Forget the tool cart/dolly (as common as a Dodo bird). Meanwhile, Klein products are available even in the Lowe's restroom!! Pathetic what Lowe's has done. Just pathetic.
That is such a shame to hear!
That’s a great system however for price, looks etc I personally like the JCB Jobsite system
Have you seen my recent video on the new JCB site system?
@ sure have and that reinforces my opinion
I hope the prices come down
Same, hoping they do that for the big UK push in 2025!
Looks really nice system. I like the latches and the locks! Looks cool. Hopefully we wont have to wait long for ot to arrive.
Fingers crossed!
Great to know the drawers are on their way to the UK. I had to import mine from Poland!
How much did that cost you mate!?
@shadowfoamplus Around £90 with shipping. Expensive admittedly, but they've made my job so much easier.
Found the new channel. Was hoping to find more toolbox reviews..you read my mind
have you done the toolbox song video yet?
Does JCB make the small tote bags like AEG does in Australia that can latch on to the top?
Should do! We’ll feature them on the channel if so! 👍
If the dealer I'm at sticks with JCB, this is probably going to be one of my ideas for my tool box after my apprenticeship is over. I prefer a bit more of a mobile set up, and the draws would definitely be part of mine
Sounds like a great idea mate! 👍
As a landscaper I want to know if you open the lid when its wet does all the water run inside like with Dewalt Toughsystem 2.... we use DT2 and its good, but pointless it being waterproof if all the water runs in as soon as you open it.
Packout is the same. It's a pain in the ass.
Nice to see the draw system will become available soon. Liking the ability to wall hang 👍
Yeah me too! Looking forward to getting eyes on the drawer! 👍
Keter, make these and rebrand them for other companies I've had the keter progear 2.0 for a few months and do like it. Very sturdy.
Love the upgraded box , shame I don't use them but would if I did , im just a small D I Y er lol
I'd say it's priced for DIYers!
The removable handle and wheel on the stack is a great feature, especially if you're setting up a huge and multi day job site
Agreed, it'll come in very handy!
I bought a Magnusson Site System 22" open crate from B&Q long before I found Shadow Foam. A few months ago I bought the Magnusson pre-made foam insert but it didn't fit. I think I bought the wrong thing (my fault). Do you have an insert for the 22" open crate?
