My audio issue on my X12S. It plays system sounds and sounds which are in a sounds folder within the scripts folder. When I try to activate a Play Track I get no sound!

EdgeTX 2.8 nightly issue "Touchscreen"

When selecting a menu from the eight main images. The wrong one is selected. The screen is the locked from touch. Going in to a menu using the rotary encoder I.E. MDL and then selecting the telemetry icon. RF set up is displayed, again touch is disabled.

Had an issue with some kind of electrical interference whilst testing some new components. I think (hope) it is the CDI unit, and not a radio issue. Radio Horus X12S running ACCESS and ACCST V2.1.0 RX is a R8R PRO Running under ACCST V2.1.0 Engine is an old DZY 26CC with CDI ignition.

Arrested landing!
Problem resolved by deleting the old sound files and adding a new sound pack. Old files may have been in the wrong format.
Very cool, I just ordered this plane.. will order wingnut controller as well, just responds to sixth channel switch?
Either a switch or a rotary control. You get way more colours using rotary.

I didn't think that the horus had a touchscreen, what version of radio was that?
Correct, officially the Horus never had a touch screen. This is a "user" modification using parts from a Radiomaster TX16S. Supported in EdgeTX 2.8 which has just been released.

It was as simple as Matt said. Just made sure the plug cap was on tight. The model has since had a change of engine to a Zenoah26.
does everything work smoothly? I've been wanting a Horus X10 forever, but was worried about getting edgetx on it so I could run crossfire
Edge TX 2.7.1 is exceptional. I am having a few issues with 2.8.? BETA. Hope to resolve soon. As to weather you should go to Edge, in my opinion YES.
@@KevinFairgrieve have you been able to get the one bit mode working for things like crossfire ???
As yet I have not tried Crossfire.

Not special. Just that when the X12S came out it should have had a touch screen like the newer X20. I just did the modification as most of my other TX have touch screen. It is my go to method of interaction when setting up my models.

Hello I like the idea but It looks like it's hard to launch, is it? What is the flight time? Does it get tangled at all? Is it really worth buying? I like the idea but
Once the launch is mastered they fly well. With a 3s 5000mAh LiPo, flight times in excess of 20 minutes are possible. So far very few tangles and those that occurred were easy enough to sort. Is it worth the money. For me personally, no.

Yes an easy fix. On the early Horus models the leads from the gimble used a hard plastic sheath. Replaced with silicon wire and had no issue`s since. Available from lots of sources but I got mine from T9 www.t9hobbysport.com/frsky-horus-x12-replacement-parts
@@KevinFairgrieve thank you,, that puts to rest a big worry, I last week picked up a x12s second hand, absolute bargain, I'm still looking for faults to see why it was sold so cheap. Didnt need it, but couldn't refuse that offer. B so now a huge learning experience of open tx. Major upgrade from my FF7 system which still works amazingly

In a word YES. I have it in a 38cc gasser 45cc gasser and soon to be a 62cc gasser.

Bad news. It's been cancelled due to the weather and the plane is now grounded until March.
@@georgejacob3162 my last flight, August 2018 was two years in the making. Cancelled due to bad weather in numerous occasions. Just makes it all the more special when it happens.
I first booked this flight in August when the weather was gloriously sunny. My first booking was cancelled due to a 'minor technical issue' which turned out to be a major engine overhaul! I was informed that the pilot flew the aircraft home to his farm with only half of the engine working! The plane was grounded for 6 weeks until fixed and tested. He has 2 other perfectly working Tiger Moths but he refused to take passengers in them despite the backlog of bookings to get through. I did have a bi-plane flight in October only I wasn't sat in the seat... I was stood on top of the 1940's Boeing Stearman as it flew over Rendcomb in Gloucestershire! I;m curious ... nobody has said anything about disabling the OEM RF circuit. It seems to me that you are wiring the new DIY module in parallel with it and if it isn't disabled how do you prevent damage? There isn't any load on the OEM RF if you remove the original antenna.

No it was a bug in Open TX. Now sorted.

Running Open TX 2.2 It does not yet support the sensors fully, NO problems with my BETA Horus.

Hi, I just made the conversion with the same parts that you got. But I cant make the bind between my frsky v8 and frsky d8r-II. ive set the TX to PPM. All ive got is a solid red and green when trying to bind. Any thoughts?

If you look on the videoat 2.00mins you will see that the negative on the super is just a dot. I scrathed a larger section to get a good connection. I see no reason why yours should not be O.K. You do so entirely at your own risk of course.
hello do you know if this also works with a rd6000 sport because the negetive is only a copper spot but with no tin on it
Hi, I have an Airtronics RD6000 (not sport or super) that I bought 11 year ago. Now I what to convert it to 2.4 soo I bought the Frsky V8HT . When I open my TX the board is quite diferent . I cant find the places that you sold the PPM and the -+. Do you think is posible that I can send you a photo of the bord i maybe you can find it??? I will i wiil apreciate it alot. Thanks
Hi. If you are using the RD6000 Super the connections are on the bottom board approximatly in the middle. The video at 2.00 mins shows exactly where. If you are using a differnt TX then I will need to know the model to find the connections.
Thanks, I've had mine open for a few days but can't figure out which one is the positive and ppm on mine. How do you know which lines to trace?
It would work fine on an VG600. You just need to find the PPM - + connections.
would this work on a non-computer manual trim vg600? I assume it wires in the same on the board.
This is my third conversion of this Tx and to date I have not had any problems. Once you have "bound" the system press the button again(the LED should go back to red) or turn of TX and RX. They should remember their settings. Hope that helps
just finished with my rd6000/ everything powers up but nothing moves. i bind it and it looks like the binding worked - but the led stayes orange rather than .red the tx works fine on 72 MHz. did u encountered this issue before? THX
I have done a full range check, but as yet it remains unflown. Runs fine on the TX battery voltage. No (devider) needed. The unit does have a Shotky diode on the PPM signal. No. It will only work with Frsky RX.
hi did u test it yet? what is the voltage for this module? what is the ppm voltage? don't u need a devider? will it work with other rx?
The damn weather has been to lousy to test this yet. Fingers crossed for the next couple of weeks.
