I saw them around 1990 in Memphis when they opened for ZZ Top. I had no idea who they were. I wasn't really a huge ZZ Top fan but the tickets were a Christmas gift. ZZ Top was off the chain, and I liked them even more after seeing them live ...but in all honesty the Crowes were on fire, and stole the show, before ZZ got started. Nobody seemed very familiar with them as they were relatively new on the music scene if memory serves me correct. They were just that good!! Thank you and God bless you for inspiring that much needed trip down memory lane! ❤❤❤

Hahaha no shit! I saw the crows on their very first tour as an opening act for…..shit I can’t remember for the life of me. But it was at great woods amphitheater in Mansfield Massachusetts. It might have been Aerosmith? I don’t remember. But I was in high school and out from the backstage area came Tamie dowe, Brent muscat and the rest of faster pussycat. If you remember it was the late 80’s and I was really into the LA strip music scene 😂😂. So we were all gayed out by the “rockstars” 😂😂. Me being a too cool for school guitar player with a cocky attitude and my own little group of high school groupies. Short skirts and boobies popping out of the shirts and faster pussycat looking at me like….dam kid! You’re doing something right! Hahahah! But then I spotted the girl across the street from me and she was the most beautiful girl I’d ever seen in my entire existence! So I knocked her up and fell in love and here we are 34 years later with four wonderful children and a grandson! Still a beautiful wonderful marriage!! Being a long haired guitar player served me well!!

I saw them twice since they got back together. I don't like the way Chris sings the prechorus. I know he can't reproduce the album version effects, The bands tempo is like the original, but Chris just races through the lyrics

I think he must be, just insufferable, I love his guitar tone & he’s written some great songs, riffs… but his stage presence is off putting at best. Also, I miss Steve’s vibe in the band but I get it, he’s never coming back.

Not sure about that. Despite the Slang debacle, Def Leppard did all right. Crue reunited with Vince. ( the self titled album was great) Queensryche and Van Halen changed up their respective sounds. In short i would say they all contributed something to help keep rock alive
