Interesting but rather gruesome video of a sparrowhawk feeding on a bird which it had just killed and is now consuming in our garden. The full video runs for 38 minutes, so it was quite a feast.

Interesting. I hadn't thought about Covenanter martyrs being buried in Strathaven. I have an old tome "The Scots Worthies" that tells of the sad end of these good people. I will have a look in the cemetery next time I am wandering. Thanks for sharing!

nice footage,this is a 3 month old juvanile female she will have only just left her nest territory to hunt for herself,no help of parents anymore nice to see she is hunting ok.DC
