I will never forget driving a new Series 3 D 17 cultivating with a four row cultivato and how nice it operated. I have two of those two row cultivators like you are using. Yours is set up differently than what I'm used to. I started cultivating with a Ferguson cultivator around 1953 or 1954. I would recommend finding a four row cultivator. The D 17 will handle it just fine and you'll cut your trips across the field. D 17s will sort of foul plugs or misfire after light use for a period of time. Especially noticeable after light winter work and then using for spring plowing. They will sometimes clear up after a days hard working.
My d15 did that when I first got it there’s kind of a thrust bearing on the governor change out the governor and the surging will go away. Steiners has em for about 200 bucks. You got a 50/50 shot of puttin it in the right way if you put it in and it won’t run or runs rough pull the new governor turn it 180 and put it back in and it should run like a top.

Nice 966
I have the White 543 4 row, it looks just like yours. Mine needs a lot of work & I'm trying to locate parts & a parts manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully I can get it done in time this year to plant soybeans & corn. I also have an Oliver 720 baler getting restored to use, not show.
Messer your row placing (that looks like a 40") them messer between dead center of the planter to the senter of thoe out side of the planter row. Then put it maker down on the ground. On the senter of the beem the senter of the row them and half that distance the end of the marker. If it 40" planter and 20". If it's 30" and 15". If it's 20" ad 10" at like that.
Yeah It was still extended out to 38" in the video
That's not a plow, it's a disc harrow

Thanks for sharing
Nice video
Was this corn planted in rows or just broadcasted?
Rows. Got blown over in the last few storms
Thanks for the reply 👍
how did you do with your corn maze?
Biggest money maker on the farm
Honestly, what does it matter what the moisture content is at this very late date, combine the corn! You are wasting money leaving it in the field this long any way.
I sell it myself, not to a mill. So if it's too wet, it'll mold up in the bin if I don't sell it fast and when it does sell I don't want it to get moldy before the customer can feed it out.
Like what u trying to do buddy im in ga luv yalls country up there its beautiful ill be watching good luck
