How we made a 15 cup - tumbler turner
Do you still doing scuba dive?
My first 1st like! Beautiful btw. Makes me wish I had workings gills.
What a blessing you are to take this time for a complete tutorial on these storyboard tumblers I just ordered a case from stainless steel thanks to your video ❤❤
How can you do epoxy wo putting tape around top?
Love you girl ❤❤❤.. thanks for the class
Great video
Very cool!
Hi. Do you still answer questions here by chance? I'm new to this type of cup and have enjoyed both part but do have a coupke questions. You were adorable to watch and i understand since its 1 yr old maybe you don't reply here anymore. 😊
I haven't made a cup in a long time but how can I help?
Hi! I saw you did a Harry Potter storyboard tumbler, can you please do a tutorial on making that please? Thank you
I stopped making cups about a year ago or I would! I'm so sorry!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ thanks for this video. 😊
Can you share where you got the textured foil for decals?
What setting would I use for Cricut
Love the "mistakes". That's how I learn!
Hello from Texas!! Love the color combination on these tumblers!! I’m new to you but just started following you! Thanks for the tips it’s great for those of us who are new to this tumbler work. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot from you!
Beautiful cups and great tips.
What do you do if the leak test goes wrong?
You must remove any silicone and liquid clean with rubbing alcohol and start over. The seal at the top is the most important at get nice and good. Let setup before filling. Test with distilled water 1/4 and let sit over night to ensure no leaks. Let me know if this helps.
Thank you so much I was struggling with other peoples videos...
Do you think it is easier to glitter on the cup or before putting on the cup?
I do prefer glittering it when it's on the cup personally. I think you loose less glitter and that's how I started doing it. But it's been a long time since I have done one now and transfer tapes have come a long way.
How long do you degas your snow globes?
Have you ever had to remove double sided tape from a tumbler? If so, how did you do it? 😣
A white background on the tumbler would have been stunning
What clear sealer do you use
Yay thank you, I can’t wait to try this- I like the fast flow but I know others like the slow or stuck ones.
You’re hysterical!
I’m sorry what is the brand of that double sided sheet you used?
THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!! Are those 8x11 sheets you’re using?
Nice video!!
Luv this,, but what keyboard short cut did u use to duplicate that on the make it mat screen
On the left on my cricut you can change the number of copies or duplicate the image at the print/cut screen .. let me know if that answers your questions...
This was fascinating! I didn't know there was a repositional adhesive tape out there. I had a lot of fun watching your tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing. 😄
I love it
What cut setting should I use on my Cricut explorer?
Did you get a answer on what setting I need to know that to I been you tube I can't find nothing
I love that you show what your “working on”. I’m very curious about how the blood drip turns out.
Do you know of anyone who sells the wraps already cut? I don't have a cricut.
How do you seal the glass
Beautiful! Can I ask what hotel or resort you stayed at and did you like it?
Love your videos! I just purchased a couple storyboards to play with. I have been using Pro Marine for about 3 years, have you noticed any yellowing of white glittered tumblers? I have 2 that I have kept and both have turned a yellow color.
I haven't had any issues personally...I know that overtime all epoxy can yellow, when you prep your cup make sure your white base has time to gas off, what method did you use for glitter if you did a white glitter?, I use tack it or epoxy method, some makers add a tiny drop of blue ink in the epoxy to avoid a yellow shift down the road. But I have been pleased with pro marine personally
What size do you cut your template.
When making template wraps I have found that 9.18 × 8.125 works best for me ... but I always recommend measuring your tumbler or practice cutting a square on cardstock and wrapping your cup ... if you're doing a glitter base with epoxy first that would be thicker than a stainless steel painted base ... hope that helps ... that measurement is for a 20oz slim straight tumbler
How do it get it cut
Hi I have the template on my cricut and I cut it on washi .06 setting ... this cuts the top layer leaving the adhesive layer intact... I always say do a test cut as every machine and blade can have different wear to them. Paper+ has also worked for me.
New to this , how do you get your cuts on it for your image?
Minnesota skeeters will carry you away they are huge come paired to Montana's
Great video
Where did you get the template?
I love that design on the cup where did you get it? Turned out great I think. Really can’t wait until you start doing more tutorials, you are very informative and a very good teacher. You explain everything so precisely that people can follow along no matter what level of tumbler making we are at. Keep up the great work.
If you rub/ press the glitters do you have to go in with a second layer using a adhesive glue? Does rubbing/ pressing prevent other colors from sticking onto previous colors? Really struggling with my colors contaminating each other! But I have not pressed like this..
Hi I go darkest to lightest making sure to rub in ... I use a dry brush and brush off the excess glitter before I start my next color ... I dont go in with a second coat ... some double sided adhesive tapes are stronger than others ... I like Elizabeth craft design or scrapbooking.com... I think they work the best
Could you link where to get the party foils you use ,,awesome tutorial tks😊😊😊
The party foil was made by cricut I believe it's been discontinued but you may be able to find some online. I will be selling off my supplies eventually and I do still have some. I will let you know when I do!
That's so awesome work you put in the tumblers.
Thank you!
To remove double sided tape off a tumbler is simple. Just use CitriStrip. Put your tumbler on paper towel (4 half sheets, folded double) with a gloved hand, smear CitriStrip onto the tumbler. Fold the paper towels around the tumbler. Then wrap aluminum foil around that. Close both ends and let sit overnight. The next morning, unwrap with gloved hands. The tape can be removed with a finger.
I would love to see tutorials (beginning to end) of the tumblers. Especially the one that could be a Mardi Gras one
I have slowed down on my tutorials however if I have a template order I will try and remember to tape it!!
@@KotekTime thank you!
Do u use 3/4 in. Or 1/2 in. PVC
Beautiful! Thank you. What is the name of the design you are using? please. I know you mentioned the sgop is closed. But might be able to find some thing simular.
Look what I found on Etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/1025878136/tumbler-template-svg-20oz-skinny-20oz?ref=share_v4_lx This is similar... just make sure it works for your style cup straight or tapered;)
