Part of the reason, Scott Strickland will not fire CBN. SS only interviewed CBN. He was the *ONLY* guy the SS wanted to come with him. As long as SS is AD, CBN is probably coach. Of course, Basketball is doing well and Baseball looks promising, so that will keep SS in his position for at least 1-2 years. The biggest missing pieces are on defense. The defense improved, but never got pressure without a blitz and it seems like Florida never even *TRIED* to block a punt under CBN.

Auburn was in every game this year. They kept the pieces that made them competitive and added pieces to places that made them weak. They will be the team to beat in the SEC this next year. War Eagle!

2024 was the season the harsin recruiting bust hurt the most. Gus hadn't exactly been much good before that. Hopefully Hugh has brought in enough talent to compete in 2025. On a more general note the NIL money schools elsewhere in the country are soaking up talent that would have gone to SEC schools so expect the SEC football dominance to be muted in future seasons.

ND looks great against most opponents until they meet the UGA Bulldogs. Trust me, it won't even be closed. GA has underperformed, yes. They usually play that way against lower-level competition. They tend to coast through these games. When all the chips are on the line, they are a different beast. Just compare their games against George Tech vs. Texas(x2).

The ncaa has lost all credibility and has zero control ! The ncaa allows biological men to play in women’s sports! That is completely unfair but the ncaa looks the other way! They had rules about accepting gifts and Reggie brooks broke those rules at the time so the ncaa took his heisman away, then with nil and it being legal they give it back? What about all the other players who played by the rules? They allow the nil with really no restrictions? Kids are transferring 5 or six times? No way they are students! I say one transfer in 4 years and no money from nil until the player actually graduates, that would slow this crap down. They don’t need a commissioner they need fair rules for every player and sport and school? Just look at how the committee selected this years playoff teams ! did we hire an OC? other than that what revamp? the only revamp is Lagway carrying Napiers crap playbook. he runs a slow methodical playbook that takes way too long to develop and requires a mobile qb like Lagways to run it. Notice how when teams run zone we get screwed? even Tulane did that and picked Lagway off two times, luckily our talent gap and depth was better or we could have screwed that pooch too. We had one commit at the time Foster came on board then foster grabbed a top 35 class in no time flat. 4. Think USC D can improve next year but not sure offense will get any better after seeing what they lost. Think still step behind the big boys in conf Oregom, Ohio st, Penn st, Michigan. Maybe 2026 will be USCs year who knows?

Foster has to build a team that can compete currently with usc and the middle of the big 10. The next step would have to be getting players that can compete against Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, and the rest of the sec. That will take time.
