Resin casting || Mizu cosplay from Blue Eye Samurai
Просмотров 5266 месяцев назад
Hey! This is my take on Mizu's weights from @Netflix's Blue Eye Samurai show. The process is a little too complicated, for such simple accessories, but I wanted to use the occassion for learning new things. Also, it's my first attempt on voiceover (sorry for any inconvenience!). Anyway, hope you'll enjoy and/or find this video useful in the future! I mentioned @hillsideartstudio in the video - ...

Faux fur mantle tutorial || Etain cosplay
Просмотров 4738 месяцев назад
This is my attempt of making an imitation of fur mantle for my Etain cosplay (Etain is one of the main characters in Centurion movie). I wanted to create a fur that corresponds with the reference, but I didn't want to buy the real thing, so I developed this method. I highly recommend imitating fur for cosplay purposes. Feel free to ask any questions! annarottau.com/ Utwór Impact Moderato (autor...
Transformation of an ordinary baseball bat into Harley Quinn's bat || Lynx Den
Просмотров 2214 года назад
Harley Quinn's bat from Suicide Squad movie [2016]. Materials: a wooden baseball bat, acrylic paints, black, red and blue permanent markers, acrylic varnish. I made this as a special gift for a really very big fan of Harley Quinn. It was a fun project, and my first prop in which I used an airbrush to do the paintjob. I also had to practice a little Harley's (or propmaker's) handwriting to add a...
Abandoned City - t-shirt art with bleach || Lynx Den
Просмотров 20 тыс.6 лет назад
This is the t-shirt art I've made as a Christmas gift for my brother. The design was my own idea, and I thought bleach used on a black cotton t-shirt may be the best means to implement it. The process of making the whole thing consisted of: - making stencils from cardboard, - bleaching the entire design onto t-shirt with spray and brushes, - rinsing the shirt carefully and thoroughly, - and at ...

@@lynx-den Thank you so much!! Your Mizu is spectacular 💙
@@beep6202 Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it ❤
They look very nice! Seems like a lot of work with the resin casting. Did you consider just using Metal or would that have been too heavy?
Thank you very much! I did consider casting it with metallic powder as a filler, but when I compared the weight of just one piece made in that technique with aluminum powder, and the other piece casted with just resin and some pearly powder, it turned out that the one with metallic powder was way heavier. So wearing all set of 24 pieces would have been heavy indeed (it would fit the character though 😉).
A little IPA can help loosen the hot glue if you need to do something like this in the future. The final product is still amazing!
Good to know, thanks! I will definitely try that. Thank you so much for watching!
amazing!
Thanks! ❤
resin + metallic powder + sanding = true metallic look, nice :)
Thanks! 😊. The best result is with transparent resin 😉
they look so cool! hope this video pops off
