Great work my brother. Real talk.. You don't have to explain anything about how your setup looks or materials you choose to and not to use. Anybody with an issue with what you have just hate to hate. Hell of a job with the setup and concepts you have. I don't use bark bedding either for several reasons, and my snakes are absolutely fine. Keep up the great work.. and don't apologize to anybody for having healthy and happy animals.

that vet fact is so so important and somehow i never even thought about it while doing my research! i’m planning on getting a ball python and then after gaining more experience branching out into hognose snakes and the vet thing somehow never crossed my mind, thank you for sharing !

What I love when it comes to videos like this is transparency. When things don’t look great and there’s explanation why and plans to change it. There’s so much judgement in this hobby and less positivity and help. Everyone has different ways of caring for their animals and ways that work for them that may not work for other people. As long as the snakes are healthy, you’re clearly doing something right. Also let’s face it, reptile keepers be messy sometimes - there’s a lot of stuff we gotta have! Awesome work Dre, can’t wait to see what you do next :)

I know that green tree boas are Larger than ball pythons but i wanna know are the green tree python Larger too or same as ball python?

How often do you feed your adult blood pythons ? Also how much does a full grown female / male weigh? I have a baby ivory blood python. She’s somseeet. Eats frozen thawed rat pups weekly she’s 120g. At 2 years old I’m gonna switch her to 10 percent every 10 days. At 3 years old every 2 weeks. Then every 3 weeks At 4 years and 10 percent monthly at 5 years. In this a good general guideline to follow ? I’m kind of upset because I wanted a female but after popping in pretty sure I got a male I wanted a large impressive snake compared to my large female ball pythons. So for example if I had a 6 ft 5 year old 25 pound blood python. I would give a 2-3 pound rabbit monthly. My ambient temps are 74-77. And hot spot is about 84-88.
