Late to this, but plague marines are the cheapest T5 infantry chaos can field. (fellhammer makes even overcharged plasma wound on 4's) Kit them out as MSU melee trading pieces with a bonus blight launcher and just force continual over-investment of resources into them, the partybus convoy is just rolling on through.

I started Daemons. I bought Horticulous Slimux w/some Beasts of Nurgle and a Lord of Change. Is there some good combos I can do with a Nurgle/Tzeentch daemons?

I don't know...hmm...so basically my Tzeentch daemons will either be able to 1)take other gods daemons as allies in the current 40k datacards, Or 2) be able to take tzangor & cultists if they get subsumed (again) into thousand sons or get a pure Tzeentch book like aos. It feels more fun sacrificing mortals than other daemons, but other daemons have more tactical options. Fyi aren't Kairic acolytes basically just cultists of Tzeentch?

On the one hand it's the most competitive detachment along side chaos cult, on the other hand it's one of the detachments that has the most difficult gameplan

Holy crap thanks to your video i now realized that the detachment rule for renegade raiders is different (and less powerful) in the French codex. In French the AP bonus is only when shooting and does not work on melee. Wtf happened there GW?

Had a game against chaos knights, he brought 3 bigs abominant, lancer and desecrator. Managed to lure him to split them up with guo then deepstriked behind with belakor, used his aura for shalaxi, skarbrand and bloodthirster all to get 6" charges and wiped out all 3 on turn two 😂😂 i lile to call that move the doomsday switch hahaha

Professor Archon, would you please update your Death Guard list with Miasma's and what you would run for Daemons. Plague Bearers for Battleline with Rottigus in the middle of the board; or, Nurglings for cheap and Plague Drones? Or alternatively, Pactbound Zealots with maxed Death Guard, in a Nurgle thematic list ... I have never played Daemons, but I have A LOT of Death Guard, and while not as tricky as the trim on Night Lords, and are a lot more forgiving with painting mistakes (they're gross anyway) took a lot of work. Lastly, en lieyu of Patreon, could you rig a Ko-Fi account, a lot of people like paying lump sum for work, instead of by the hour - on surface, seems a more intermittent income stream but allows for impulse pay, in the moment, as it were - just a thought.

Hey so I have 2000 pts of khorne daemons, (been playing since 8th, so I using them when they weren’t good lol) and I was thinking about getting nurgle stuff next. So I would probably go 1k Khorne and 1k Nurgle. My locals does 1k matches though, so I would go 500 khorne and 500 nurgle, I was wondering what units should I focus on getting first? Whenever i see a daemons list without Belakor, it immediately raises a red flag. The player at that point is either new to the faction or a pro, no in between.

I brought 2 rendmasters but i cheated because i had Belakor and used him like a bodyguard for one of them as they and some units took the obj together while my bloodthirster and some others with my rendmaster deepstriked the guard's mortor emplacements. The resulting sandwhich was delicious

Fellhammer is absolutely cheeks. The whole detachment relies on the enemy being a shooting army. And some of the stratagems are laughably, situational and bad. I hope he gets better. I’m saying this after the Bastian plate and nerf as well by the way

I actually somewhat like using 1 big unit of Accursed in this list, due to the re-roll strat and to help screen your gunline a bit more. Granted, it's not getting much beyond that, but a re-roll to hit is superb for them and it's a unit that an opponent needs to focus on to deal with effectively, giving you a big chance to have all the accursed models remaining, giving you a big chance to hit back with both re-roll to hit and to wound, messing up your opponent's plans.

My BattleScribe doesn't even have 40K 10e as an option?

I run a Khorne one in my Deamons list with the enhancement. It hasn’t disappointed me yet.

awesome video, i'm going to start an ec army in preparation for the new models and codex. I really like the obliterator models, do they get any benefits from being EC?I'm very new to 10th ed.

I have a bit of a sleeper combo. I run skarbrand with a khorne soul grinder. Since it gives grinder the khorne keyword, it means that it gets the melee bonuses from skarbrand. I like to airdrop him 6" in the bubble, unload the gunfire, which you can splitfite if you want. People always expect it to be a shoots unit but i have had a tone of success running him with skarbrand as a melee/overwatch threat. I prefer the Warpsword over the claw because more ap and potential more damage. Thing is the shooting is still good because harvester canon is strength 10 2 damage. Playing him melee also means you can use tankshock on him, so 11 dice for potential insta wounds. I highly recommend trying it. I like to run it with either multiple great unclean or rotigus to hold objs, or just one unclean with a lord of change holding midboard with belakors lone op.

I've just started a new Khorne daemons army. I love the models and the rules seem really fun. Also the complete opposite of my Tau, all mech list.

Honestly when my opponent tries to rush belakor to take out that large amount of points, I take it with pride. I do what they least expect and charge him straight in there against their whole army. This usually distracts and confuses my opponent enough for me to pick up some objectives elsewhere 😂
