I'm gonna be honest, 8 minutes with no checkpoints is surely just frustrating. Like if I was gonna spend 20 hours on the a celeste level I'd want to be technically challenging, not just 8 solid minutes of easy enough platforming. (Easy considering the fact that you have to be good enough to not die once)
