We visit the Belize Zoo on our way to Belize City from Placencia. The Zoo is more of a sanctuary and home to native only species. We take a boat out 15 miles from Hopkins, Belize to the Barrier Reef for snorkeling, handline fishing, and hanging out on the private caye, Bread & Butter Caye. We see stingrays, pelicans, and chill out with Rosemary the dog while we wait for our fresh catch to be prepared. One of the best meals we had in Belize! We enjoy the beach from our beachouse in Seine Bight. We take a trip to Hopkins where we do some souvenir shopping and then eat at Ella's Cool Spot which was a delicious Jamaican food joint in Hopkins.
