Hello Dr Bob - I just bought this book today, Jan 26, 2024, at a thrift store called Goodwill for $1.25, in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. I bought it because over the past two weeks, Mr Trump has gained in popularity again to perhaps become the next American President. I'm pretty much an independent, middle of the road thinker and try to "call a spade a spade", so to say. I, too, am amazed by the vast majority of professing "Christians" here in America who STILL support Mr Trump knowing that so much evidence is out there showing Mr Trumps character. I have just come to the conclusion that an innate human weakness or flaw is that peoples minds can be easily persuaded to believe all kinds of garbage, that peoples "reality" can vary in vast ways, and that people can embrace "truths" that are so vastly different from other peoples "truths". This is undoubtedly a human trait that can result in terrible consequences. I'd imagine that this human problem has always existed - going back thousands of years, I'm sure, however, we now have technology (social media) which makes information much more readily available, so in a sense, things can get much worse much faster. I'm actually not a religious person. But I believe that wise people listen to those who oppose them and the title of this book is certainly an attention grabber. I've always liked listening and learning so I'll spend some time reading some, if not all of this book. I appreciate your review in this video - it was very logical and sensible. I'll check your channel out more in the future! Take care and thanks for sharing your thoughts!
