Survival instinct kicks in hard with this boss. I don't think I've ever seen gameplay where the person playing doesn't turn around and hightail it like Scooby and Shaggy when that bolt comes out.

The nuke should have special attributes to make it more impactful. My thought is: - Enemies with total HP of 2000 or less will be instantly killed - If an enemy's total HP are more than 2000, the nuke will deal 70% damage of total HP, NOT current HP (this means the nuke will ALWAYS kill in 2 hits) - The nuke's damage attributes completely bypass any damage resistances and defensive spells - However, it CAN'T bypass techniques that grant invulnerability effects, like Vow of the Indomitable or Dragon King Cragblade's thundercloud form) - When placi set the lightning spear on the ground, the area surrounding the spear will decrease enemies' movement speed by 5% (the speed debuff's range is the same as the nuke's explosion range) - The moment placi started his nuking animation, his stance CAN'T be broken at all - To make it fair, the nuke will explode in 10 seconds instead of 6. The timer starts the moment placi STABBED the spear into the ground

I think out of all the bosses I struggled with placidusax the most. millennia was not so bad compared to him.

Idk if this is a hot take but IMO the Bolt of Gransax is easily one of the best and most crutch weapons in the game. Level that thing up to a +10 and you’ll be sniping bosses from across the arena before they can even target you. Especially if paired with stuff like Golden Vow or Godfrey Icon.

There are like 7 full seconds of animation before he sets off the bolt. That should be a one shot without high lightning resistance and vigor.
