Best Horse Breeds Used For Dressage: Part 2
In this video I cover the Haute Ecole Airs. They are magnificent at preforming dressage and excelling in competitions. These horses perform more advanced dressage moves, such as air movements.

only germanic horses - the producers of the video are the usual racist minded people of central Europe that like to go around pretending they are way civilized...
Friesian is the best I love friesians horses ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My dream horse is a kwpn gelding/stallion. They're beautiful!
So warmblood
I love this vid ty!
Almost clicked off lol I have a thoroughbred I'm bringing along and so far she and my friends tb are better jumpers than my other friends kwm warmblood lol
Warmbloods
What horses are good for jumping and dressage?
Warmbloods are good for both disciplines or Thoroughbreds
I always (kinda) wanted to be a show jumper!! I still noob doe.. FOLLOW YOOUR DREAMS!
Is a black stallion good for jumping?
Not a breed.
I would like a horse good for jumping and racing and hunting Or......... One like in wonder woman the amazons
Oh I use a friesan because they are like royalty I think I like friesian more but the other horses are also beautiful!
Cool video
Are American quarter horses good for jumping???
Yes!
No
They can be decent in basic categories like 60 or 90
I've always want to have my own horse but I can't because there aren't any competitions here in philippines and it maybe a little too hot nor cold. And wanna be a rider since I was young😢but can't because it was quite complicated... And then I can be one on my college (after 4yrs more🤦) said my mom, but im frustrated because it is more likely for me to learn much more if i trained young not go abroad and train like a beginner when your already a college student then do simple competitions younger teens can do but I can't....its just useless for me to train when im already too old to learn many many things about riding.....that hurts when you dreamed of it but can't become one ......(sorry im crying) 😭because i love horses for my whole life actually and always wanted to have my own and be a good rider of my self... ....this is so messed up.. only if... ..i live in a place where to could be competitions with horses and i could have one of my own but that is impossible to happenn.... .. . ... Edit: dont mind me im sensitive and get emotional easily..
Hey, I understand how you must be feeling, I've wanted a horse my whole life too but haven't been able to get one cause of circumstances but you don't have to be young to learn. When I used to be an instructor, I taught people from young to old. I even taught a man who was only starting to learn in his late 50's to ride. It's never too late. As for competing, that's never too late either, the person who hired me to give lessons, only started to compete in her late 20's and is learning currently how to compete in dressage and had to learn from the beginning again too. Also my aunt only started competing in her late 20's too. Join an equestrian center and they'll put you in the right classes with the right people and with persistence and hard work, you'll be able to get there, I promise.
What makes a horse good for dressage? Can an Arabian or Quarter Horse be good in Dressage?
I would say you can use an Arabian or Quarter Horse in dressage but if you want to really go big with competing then i'd recommend the breeds in the video above. It all depends what the breed was bred for. Quarter Horses were bred for racing a quarter mile and excel mostly in western. Arabians excel in endurance because they were originally bred for long treks in the desert. I have seen Arabians doing good in dressage and I have seen a few even being used in the Olympics and even winning. So sometimes it depends on the horse itself too.
@@HorseyKnowHows i agree with your point, even if you see Valegro's head you can see that convex frontal shape that's why his rider charlotte said that it is so smart, i believe that the role of arabian horses are crucial of improving eques... sports
For god sake! Iv riden for 25 years and 8:58 is ridiculous. Maybe if you’re in the grand national. But Thorobreds are the worst beed to show jump. They will knock poles down all day long. Not carful enough.
Not the thoroughbreds I've seen ridden in high class show jumping competitions here and I've seen a few ridden in the Olympics too but I understand you're frustration with the breed
There are tons of people who ride thoroughbreds in jumping. Legit. One of the best jumpers in the world was a thoroughbred.
What are you talking about? Do your research. They are literally bred for speed, endurance and jumping. They are some of the most athletic breeds. You can train them to stop knocking it over
My sister owns a thoroughbred and knocks less rails than my warm blood, any horse can be bad or good at jumping, it depends on the specific horse not their breed
Obviously you don't research/experience horses much, my ottb used to race and I've trained him to do eventing and we've come very far. Thoroughbreds are built for endurance, and high sporting events such as showjumping/hunter. As well as eventing he also does western with me. Don't assume that the whole breed cannot do a certain sport, as most are highly capable of doing so. They're a very beautiful breed, I believe they have the best nature, but of course they're misunderstood by people like you.
5:10 I thought this was about showjumping. I don’t remember an Irish sport horse winning a World Cup.
No I was simply listing breeds good at jumping and doing competitions, obviously the warmblood is king ;) but if you don't think Irish Sport horses can make it, check out this link : en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Irish_Sport_Horse_show_jumpers
Technically just a warmblood
are freseians good for jumping?
If you're planning to compete then no. They do better in dressage. They can jump but won't go far in the competitive world.
@@HorseyKnowHows thank you!
xblu•skyyx friesian cross breeds can be good for jumping but it depends on what they’re bred with. Still beautiful tho
If you like ponies then look up a Fresian Morgan mix. They can jump
are appaloosas good for jumping??
Yes they are also good for show jumping, I've seen many in competitions and they do very well
Any horse can be good at jumping basically and i have seen many appys at the horse show i have been too

@@sarahoconnor7881 hii
Yes relatively speaking. But not as good as warmbloods
1. Holsteiner 2. Hannoveraner 3. Selle Francaise 4. Dutch Warmblood 5. Belgian Warmblood 6. Irish 7. Westphalen 8. Oldenburg 9. Swedish Warmblood 10. Zangersheide / Argentine Warmblood
11. Trakehner
Is stallion good?
very accurate
@@fouratiahmad9578the stallion is not a breed😂. The stallion is a male horse (of any breed) that has not been gelded and normally used for breeding.
So..basically just get a warmblood 😂
No I have 3 horse that jump high both thoroughbreds and one Anglo arab
@@aussietv2000 ... Warmbloods are more durable.
Love this Very well made
Thanks! 😊
