Amazing concert to be a part of. ❤️❤️ Although.... I've noticed that the volume seems to be an ongoing issue with vocal concerts. Is there no way to adjust things for vocal events? At this rate we are getting better quality recordings from phones in the audience than the official streams.

Fantastic playing by Bente Illevold, Gayle Robertson, and pianist Kazuo Murakami! The piece Gayle wrote for Bente, "Råtass", was brilliant and played amazingly by Bente! ❤ *The beautiful and room filling sound both euphonium players produced with their instruments in this wonderful auditorium is not really captured in this live recording. 😀 The high placement of microphones in venues such as this are great for most instruments, but the bell-up design of euphoniums requires a different placement for best results.

This is one of my favorite Nat Slides concerts. “Send in the Clowns” is beautifully done. And the John Williams piece is one of my favorites!

Debussy Rhapsodie. An outstanding performance of this classic work. Such an open and full sound coupled with a beautiful interpretation musically. Bravo!
