I just got mine today and I’m super impressed and I love how morimoto made them tinted and how it hids the drl light strip on this version that was the only thing holding me back with their older version is because you could see the drl led bar even with their smoked ones

Thanks for the video, I honestly like the look of the smoked but after seeing reviews and a few I may go with the red instead of smoked. I have an avalanche grey black appearance package f150 and think the smoked would look the best but just worried about the all smoked with visibility

I ended up going with Morimoto instead of the AlphaRex Nova mostly because of the higher quality "low beam" pattern AND the price (Tacoma Lifestyle had a $100 off Morimoto's Sale). I do wish the Morimoto's had the sequential DRLs like the Novas do

I just purchased dome XB Morimoto headlights for my 2021 F15. I also had to purchase the adapters with it since my truck has the OE reflector headlights. How will adapter plug in for the headlights?

I got the black alpha nova for my 2010 tacoma, but they only lasted 27 months, and then the driver side failed, and I don't really want to spend another grand on something that isn't going to last.

Will a wide optic option come with the kit...or will tbe flood option com with the C1 kit..?

Did you ever test the pros with the better led bulb you suggested? I've read some people lose their turn signal or get hyperflash when using led in the pros. Any feedback?

How water proof is the plugin when I put my boat in the water and its submerged.?

The 3rd brake light is nice but way to overpriced for what they are IMO. A $100 would be right on the money.

Hi , got question for you is it worth it to spend extra $60 dollars more on C1R ? or it just the same with C1 . I saw the review for C1R the different is just a flash when it break . The rest funtion are the same with C1 . running light and reverse light are the same . I don't need any fancy and why spend extra $60 dollars more just for the flashing ? what do you think ? please let me know . And also last question . does the C1 light it flash same time if you turn signal on? Thanks

Great video, thanks for posting. To make sure i understand, are you saying the Alpharex LUXX LED bulb cannot be replaced and if it goes out you have to replace the entire headlamp? Also if the Pro series is made for halogen bulbs and you upgrade to LED won't that scatter light since the headlamp is made for reflecting halogen light?

So do you need a special connection for the camera if my stock doesn’t come with it and updating my radio to a newer Tesla one

I have the alpharex headlights and taillights both luxx edition in alphablack and I gotta say, they completely changed the look of my 2012 TRD sport for the better 👌🏾👌🏾

This is going to be a random question: When you open the door or unlock the door on a superduty, the turn signals on the halogen headlights glow amber for a couple of seconds. Do they do the same on the oem leds for the 20-22 when opening or unlocking the door?

Morimoto has had bad quality control and constant electrical problems. Half the price; but be ready to remove and replace them within a year. Ask me how I know 😂 OEM is much more expensive but will work, and I’m sure if you get them from a reliable seller; they’ll replace them for electrical issues. Find them used as well.

good video more than a year ago I bought the NOVA series in my tacoma now after seeing your comparison video I decided to buy the LUXX Alpha black that its output is incredible now I just hope to sell the NOVA at a good price 😅

you should demonstrate it in a dark area wasn't really impressed with the video but something i might buy i live in alaska long and very dark winters

I’d surely disable the welcoming sequence but thank you for the easy install video! I’m swapping from Halogens to these soon and luckily have the auxiliary switches to connect to, you know if I’ll have to flash them to work properly or has Diode made that easy enough to just swap as well?

If I don’t have aux switches but also don’t want to use the off-road lights can I wire it up and keep it in the engine bay because I want to keep the startup sequence.

Nice light, but even the $20 one I picked up off Amazon has a decent hole for a locking hitch pin to deter theft.

These lights are awesome, such a shame there is a guy on here brentdavenport01 talking absolutely garbage about them after he posted a video of them doing exactly what there advertised to do, and when I try to tell him he’s installing them wrong or something he’s deleted my msg hes totally trying to discredit this company and it’s sick all there products I’ve installed are absolutely great!
