Why only the cold water beaches? Cape Breton and Northumberland beaches are the warmest north of the Carolinas
What a fantastic video. Thank you a lot . I live in the South Shore and it would be a much longer video if you included so many other beautiful beaches in the South Shore alone. Eagle Head, Beach Meadows, East Berlin beach, Carters beach,....
We went to Carters Beach when we visited Nova Scotia in 2005...It was beautiful😊
How about Beach Meadows beach near Liverpool.
I like Bayswater.
This is outstanding!
Juste arrêter la maudite immigration de sikh !!!😡😡
haha, the best kept secret beaches lie in Cape Breton and I'm not telling
And for those that, don't know about crystal crescent beach. The 3rd beach is clothing optional so be prepared
Why do I feel nova scotia is where I should move?! I have NO idea what its like and yet..it calls my name.
It sure called my name. Moved from Ontario, never looked back!!
Thank you very much for what I've just seen!
Love martinique beach
The water is freezing ypu cant swim in it but yea
This list is hilarious that it doesn't have a single Cape Breton beach on it. I know it's a personal list, so I'll assume you never went to any of the top beaches in CB.
Cape Breton is my favourite place in the world. The beaches are on a different level compared to these

Where is that at 0:38 seconds in?
I know how beautiful NS is.
i am gonna be there in September staying at Glenora for 3 days, then we rented a house for a week on the south shore. We want to drive the cabot trail. Should we drive clockwise or counter clockwise. Your feedback would be much appreciated.
Your beaches are incomplete. The warmest water beaches in Nova Scotia are all located in areas you missed. Eastern NS, Pictou and Antigonish Counties plus all the beaches along the Northumberland Strait are absolutely beautiful and without the icy water of South Western NS beaches. These are warm water beaches bringing families, especially children, great joy. You also missed the beaches of Cape Breton Island. A major error is not mentioning Port Hood Beach. How could you not know? Understand that in Nova Scotia the farther east you travel the warmer the ocean water. Please travel some more and educate yourselves. Then remake this.
Thank you for a Great video!! We’ll be exploring all these regions next summer. New subbie from Alberta.
Love these beaches. As a resident in the Fundy area, I have to add that there are a lot of beautiful rocky beaches here with beautiful red cliffs, caves, and waterfalls.
I have to honestly say as a Canadian…..This is one of the most beautifully made videos I have ever seen….the views and colours are truly breathtaking. I do hope you will consider doing other Canadian areas. We have so many beautiful places and I keep seeing videos that just do not do them justice. Some are very dull colour wise or they pick the least attractive areas. I’ve even seen not so old videos that looked like they were filmed in the fifties with a dirty lens. Your video made me feel as though I was there!
Truly love your beautiful video……just wanted to point out there are no such people as “ Scotch “ . There is “ Scotch tape “ and “ Scotch whiskey “. The people of Scotland are “ Scottish “ or Scots men and Scots women.
Thanks! This was great. planning a July. Camping reservations done and this helped finding the fun!
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your trip!
Gorgeose
Just watching your video and Nova Scotia is absolutely breathtaking!
I loves Nova scotia
Thank you for this … I miss home
Great video. I bought a place here in 2005. The beaches are great and the people are even better. Glad you didn't go any further east.
Lots of red sand beaches
How is the temperature in summer?
surf it
I am coming out to see this gem 💎 this fall!!! September!!!
Excellent video..!
4 now till it axis tilt or current flow changes it will rise elsewhere right?
on a round globe it is the last highest landscape cliff wall that have water current flowing to nova scotia island land mass block and raising the ocean tide up 18 m highest in the world...x spot
u know lift the bath tub up one end the water rush 2 the other end stack up higher level water effect..
18m highest tide x mark the anus spot on earth
for someone like me who was born in 3rd world country and is poor, seeing these videos really makes me happy even though I cannot afford to travel here I can at least see what it looks like, i always wanted to travel the world and explore different places, but could not due to my financial conditions, looking at these videos make me feel like i am already there and combined with this smooth music I feel like I am in another world entirely i cant describe the feeling in words, it truly is remarkable.
All countries from 3d word will soon become one of the richest. Just wait some time...
Hello , one of my Favorite beaches is Stoney Island Beach , on Cape Sable Island N.S. ⛱ .
Nice video! I have 2 personal faves that aren’t on your best beaches list… that I’m not going to reveal..Cheers!
I live in, and enjoy Nova Scotia. There is just NO DOWNSIDE ! Anywhere in the province is wonderful, your choice! John M. Hill, author, "Echoes of History" and "Strange Associations"; soon: "BUMP", a story of Springhill's mine disaster in 1950. JMH
I may be biased, as my parents had a cottage at Heather's, at which once I floated a wine thermometer, taking a temperature of 75 degrees F. there. My favourite beach, ever. I am 85 now, and this summer took a swim there. John M. Hill
I’m on that stretch too.
You could probably call Cape Breton (the heart-shaped island north-east of mainland) Island one large beach as many beaches are there, many for miles on the shore. JMH
You missed the BEST beaches, including the warmest water (north of Virginia, U.S.,) along the "North Shore" opposite P.E.I., including "Heather's Beach" and Northport, near the port of Pugwash (famous for the "PUGWASH CONFERENCE" re the conference of Atomic Nations held in 1950 during the "Cold War". JMH
Watched your top 7 beaches in Nova Scotia, have you never been to Cape Breton, we are part of the province and I was disappointed that all of your top 7 picks were from the mainland.
I have been to Cape Breton too many times to count. I didn’t include any from there because they are on a different level.
Nova Scotia Coastlines: Only beautiful if you’re lacking life experience. FYI, I lived right on the sea in Shelburne county for several years, and visited all these beaches. They all share one feature: they’re dull, but not half as dull as the inhabitants.
I visited Crystal crescent! It was so cool !
I had to travel the Maritimes as part of my job. Poor me ! JMH
Sometimes in summer the ocean between N.S. and P.E.I. gets warm, up to (I measured) 75 degrees! The shallow area near Amherst, N.S. and Tidnish Harbour, P.E.I. really gets warm: some say, "warmer than the New Jersey coast". JMH
