I really loved the critic in this movie. When he sat down and just talked with Barnum, stating that other than Barnum himself, everything being done by Barnum was actually amazing and should be celebrated rather than shunned. I love how the Critic was basically saying: You’re actions are good, but you are not.

Anyine whos ever seen one of these shows can tell you, this was no exaggeration. The feats of the fantastic!

I think the soundtrack, costumes, and actors' talents are the only good things about this movie. I love seeing Hugh Jackman sing. Who doesn't? But it's sometimes hard to enjoy the story of the film knowing that the real P.T. Barnum was a terrible person. It makes me cringe. I never went to the Barnum & Bailey Circus and never wanted to, mainly because of the animal cruelty that happened in their circus. The circus closed in 2017 because of the animal cruelty. I hear it's coming back without animals, but I'm not interested. Not my thing.
